Passwords are becoming increasingly important in our lives and being targeted more and more by criminals. For all of their online presence, most people still prefer a simple and easier to remember passwords often just one. Passwords are our key to opening the door to our own private rooms on different online platforms and unlike what happens in the real world using a safe and stable key would cost no more than a simple and vulnerable key. But strong passwords are harder to remember so many people out there tend to use simpler passwords or even multiple ways to use a single password. Simple passwords are easy for hackers to crack by brute force attacks or dictionary attacks and if these passwords are used on other sites as well as the cyber criminals will take over the vulnerable account credential stuffing attacks. Our recent post on the most compromised passwords what exactly is a secure password? Generally speaking, a strong password is one consisting of 16 characters or more containing upper case letters and lower case letters containing at least one number and one special character and not containing entire words.
