Cars were still full of oil. In 2016 hundreds of California’s Jiffy Lubes received a fine of $220000 and three years of probation for multiple scams they pulled. The State’s Car Repair Bureau had conducted a sting operation amid concerns at these centres. When pulling in inspectors ensured that their cars were in tip-top condition with all the fluids complete and the Jiffy Lubes had no need to patch them. Police uncovered 37 reasons for punishment after five months and 38 undercover visits. In the first example a Jiffy Lube employee told the undercover investigator that even though the fluids were complete the car needed another quarter of engine oil. If someone tells you your oil is small at a station ask them to show you. Better still check yourself before you go to the store. Although the technician insisted that the woman needed a new filter, they never replaced it and charged her for it. NBC4 wrote invisible ink on the various parts. They noticed the original filter inside, when the team took the car back for inspection. When no fixes were required, all told Jiffy Lube bilked the customer for $649. 3. ‘Time for a transmission flush’

4/4.108 Too many Jiffy Lube employees sold consumers on unnecessary flushes.| David McNew/Getty Images The legend of the California Jiffy Lubes transmission and engine flush most of them operated by the Fanticola family were used to sell unnecessary transmission flushes. During the long 2016 settlement prosecutors have recounted the story of a Honda Civic they took to a shop during San Jose. The team had made sure that all the fluids were complete and clean before showing up. They changed the oil as well, and removed the plug. Once the Jiffy Lube looked at it, the technician suggested cleaning of a flush transmission fuel system and flush of the engine. (Honda advises owners to never conduct engine flushes in the manual.) By the time the repair shop was finished, the undercover agent was paid $279.14 for unnecessary labor. As a bonus the investigators from California drove away from the Jiffy Lube with the light on “test engine.” When they pulled up, this wasn’t there. Those statements were false so you can file them under “Lies.” There was no need for cleaning and the manual advised against flushes. Writers on altering Black Widow’s last scene

In the film’s review, Anthony and Joe Russo, together with writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, addressed the scene in the film when a big twist occurred in the storyline of Black Widow. We showed the scene where Black Widow wanted to sacrifice herself in order to take possession of the Soul Stone — a sacrifice had to be made in order to get the stone — looked different early in writing. The film s villain Thanos initially sent an army, i.e. a sacrifice to stop Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Black Widow from taking the stone. This is what has changed the author. “We really reshot this,” said McFeely in the Comic Book commentary. “This is way better than we had. That was a bit more complicated. It was Thanos who sent out a small army pretending to try to stop them. That was kind of awkward. It’s been overthinking. “Watching this post on Instagram From Spy to Avenger Black Widow is a reckonable power. # EndgameAvengersJust because the story of Black Widow seemed to end in Avengers: the character’s endgame doesn’t go anywhere. Good: stress relief

We all know that the beach’s sights and sounds work together to alleviate stress. Yet physiologically what’s going on in your body is fantastic. You get a release ofserotonin when you go to the beach which is a hormone which makes you feel happy.

You may have heard the misconception that salt water may help to heal a cut or an infection. But that really is a fact. Also the medical community recommends for the prevention of mild skin infections by boiling or compressing salt water. The health of the thyroid gland is also improved by both antibacterial and antifungal salt water. Which better way to treat a mild infection than ocean play?

But one explanation why the air quality of the beach is, knowingly or unknowingly. Here people with COPD asthma and other breathing problems excel. The Lung Institute claims people with chronic lung problems have healthier lungs after almost a year of breathing the salt air at the beach. We know that iodine is important for our bodies, as it is added to our salt. Our bodies need iodine to form thyroid hormones that regulate our metabolism and many other vital functions of the body. So when you take a bath in the sea the skin absorbs the iodine found in the ocean. Alternate time spent in the sun and shadow, so that your skin does not bake all day. Then find a comfortable hat to give your face neck and shoulders plenty of shade. Wrinkles and marks on age are unavoidable. But spending time in the sun is aging the skin faster. Any time you go out into the sun without protection your skin is exposed to UV rays, according to the American Academy of Dermatology. You can protect your skin by remaining in the shade and using a sunscreen to keep it covered. A dermatologist can also help to reverse the effects of sun damage with the treatments. Dehydration It seems impossible to get dehydrated as you are surrounded by all that water. But when you’re in the sun all day it’s easy. If you’re at the pool, drink 16 ounces of water an hour, and you should be ready to go! Also if you feel like you’re overdoing it get in the shade and quickly drink something with electrolytes. Kurtis Droge More Articles 29 November 2013 Regular Poor’s revised their credit ratings and outlooks for several major European CNBC stories. According to the company, the big loser is the Netherlands which had downgraded its credit rating from AAA to AA+. The Netherlands has been troubled by low economic growth rates, as the nation is one of the region’s slower economies to bounce back from the recent downturn. The economy of the world is expected to decline by 1.2 per cent this year far worse than the country is expected to perform according to the ratings agency. With the Netherlands losing its top ranking it leaves with the coveted AAA status only three European countries — Germany Finland and Luxembourg. There was good news for Cyprus which won an upgrade from a upper C ranking to a low B in perhaps the most surprising move. It means that Standard Poor’s claims that Cyprus has turned a corner, and that things are starting to change for the island nation where banks have been in a state of crisis as late as mid-year. Standard Poor’s noted that Cyprus has made good progress with austerity measures and privatization programs since needing funds from international groups to preserve solvency in the country’s financial sector. The third change of the day was for the outlook of Spain: The company updated its forecast from “poor” to “positive.” While the new status is by no means overly optimistic, it is a good sign for a nation that has struggled over recent months to gain economic traction. With Spain returning to third-quarter economic growth and efforts to rein in public debt finally showing some progress the country will begin to focus on other issues such as low domestic demand and persistently high unemployment. A increasing populist movement within the country could be one issue for the Netherlands. With the current government unclear as to whether it will hold a majority after elections due to take place next year, the road to change may get clouded in political differences. The baby will join their oldest daughter North son Saint and Chicago infant daughter who was also born in 2017 by surrogate. View this post on Instagram Celebrating Saint with a Tarzan-themed party A post shared by Kim Kardashian West (@kimkardashian) on Dec. 11, 2018 at 10:19am PST Carrying a child to full term and then giving birth is far more risky than one would imagine. Although she was able to carry and deliver her first two children to North and Saint, Kim Kardashian suffers from a debilitating and life-threatening condition called placenta accreta. It occurs when the placenta gets too tightly stuck to the uterine wall. Kardashian on her blog recalled how hard it had been to give birth to North. He recalled that My doctor had to put his entire arm in me and remove the placenta with his hand scratching it with his fingernails away from my uterus. How disgusting and distressing!!! My mother wept; she had never seen anything like that before. My delivery was pretty quick but then “it was the most traumatic experience of my life! They gave me a second epidural but we raced against time and I just had to deal with it. They claim some women died from this without proper care as a result of childbirth back in the day. I am so happy that my doctor was able to catch this up and immediately address the issue. Kardashian’s doctor later advised her that carrying a baby and giving birth again would be life threatening for her. She also had Placenta accreta pre-eclampsia which was not the only thing Kardashian had to deal with during her pregnancies. She had also had pre-eclampsia. According to BabyCenter UK, it “causes a decrease in blood flow through the placenta and can mean that the baby won t get enough oxygen and nutrients that may hinder [ their ] development.” Kardashian also became incredibly bloated and uncomfortable. She personally had to deliver six weeks early on to North to prevent any further complications. May the Best Brand ?

As a corporate strategy strategist one quadrant of Shively’s brain was definitely engaged with brand strategy at any given moment. In 2012, Interbrand ranked Microsoft at $57.85 billion as the world’s fifth most valuable brand. Leveraging brand value is a key part of any winning strategy particularly in a market flooded with like-caliber competing products. This is particularly relevant to Shively’s current business venture “the medical and recreational marijuana industry which will expand as high as $500 billion worldwide as he estimates. It’s a huge market in search of a brand Shively said ambitiously adding that if we get 40 per cent of it worldwide, we’d be happy. The exact scale and growth rate of the “medical recreational or both” marijuana industry is hard to determine. A 2005 study from the United Nations pegged the global trade in marijuana to $142 billion. This is a carrot on a stick of course. At it stands there’s no very clear way to estimate the market’s potential size, but it seems safe to say it’s going to be big enough to merit investors’ serious attention. And the game to play for stakeholders is: who can predict which firm will be a winner when the market opens? Shively claims that it is the firm that has the best name. In the U.S. Nima Samadi, a senior analyst at IBISWorld, said the medical marijuana industry has risen to about $1.7 billion in 2013 at a rate of 13.8 per cent per annum over the past five years. We’re going to see much faster growth in the next five years. It’s expected to grow 24.3 percent annually and reach $5 billion [ by 2018 ]. Most of that increase in sales has come from the collectives of non-profit medical marijuana. “It’s light but Samadi hits on an issue here that is critically important to the marijuana industry. There’s plenty of chatter suggesting small and homegrown brands will be the most popular. The power and importance of brand loyalty will arise from the existing social networks and customer relations within the industry as it now exists. The other side of the equation is that there would be a high barrier for outsiders to join the sector. This is one way to address why Shively’s Diego Pellicer business doesn’t seem to be really concerned about an entry into the market of a brand like Marlboro owned by Philip Morris International (NYSE: PM). Philip Morris definitely has the financial resources and the potential to enter the industry, but that is precisely how it is supposed to be viewed by existing market participants “including customers”: an invasion. The power and importance of brand loyalty will arise from the existing social networks and customer relations within the industry as
it now exists. During the holy twice yearly mecca which is Fashion Week, the best time to get a feel for style is. Not only is it the most Instagrammable time of the year, but it is a part of the never-ending quest of the industry to stay exclusive with only a number of people participating. It’s easy to check out menswear posts from those in the front row to get a sense of not just what they’re posting and how they’re posting, but what the season’s hottest trends are. For these male bloggers who have Instagram accounts that are amazingly on-point, fashion week has long past start. Look at their photo-taking and styling skills on Instagram to inspire your own page. 2.

Use your name or make your own

6/6.060 Source: iStock You already already have an Instagram account that you should certainly continue to use, but now is the time to decide whether you want to keep your name or create something a bit more creative that you’ve always wanted to try. When you pick a new name, let it include your style that takes us to the next

3. Define your style

While your ultimate goal may be to have a more fashionable Instagram account, there’s something to say about photography embracing and exposing your style to the Instagram community. Raina Penchansky, the Chief Strategy Officer of Blogger Management behemoth Digital Brand Architects, explains on WhoWhatWear that although you may only take fashionable photos of yourself, the urge to do so is considered to be a step in the direction of male bloggers. If you re-start a blog today, Instagram Penchansky says you have to start pretty much. The Instagram is the fastest way to build your brand. Styling your Instagram account is like building a small personal brand and it all starts with how you perceive your personal style and describe it. Stay true to each other. Don’t pretend to be what you think everyone wants you to be. Be authentic. It sounds like the most cliché stuff, because what resonates is really it. People say this about actors: I really like something about them. The same also applies to digital talent so you have to present that part of yourself Penchansky says. 4.

The 5 Worst Fighting Video Games of All Time Mark KnappGoogle+ More Articles August 25 2017 4/4.521 4/4.521 For a genre that has been around for so long it seems as if there would be a lot of fighting games at both the high and low ends of the price spectrum. But oddly, there are a lot of really bad fighting games — not quite as many as horrible shooter games are there. This means it’s a pretty tough genre to really mess up. It’s not impossible, however, as this list will highlight. Whether it’s a 3-D cage match in a 2-D arena or some futuristic motion-controlled slugout gamers playing fighters want a chance to show off their 1337?? combinations of astronomically lucky button mashing skills or a la Street Fighter III parrying crazy. If a game fails to offer certain things, there is a possibility in the future that it might find its way to this list. There are currently only seven fighters on Metacritic with a critical score small enough to even reach our Below-30 criteria for those lists. Here we look at those who are really the lowest of all time “the bottom five” and combine their critics and user ratings to create a composite score. Interestingly enough, from the late 2000’s they all re. Seems incompetent fighter game developers are merely a recent occurrence. 5.

Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Fight 22 (PlayStation) Metacriticscore: 40.5 Adoring fans saved this one from going down any further. It got a critical score of 25, but fans gave it a user score of 5.6. Lucky lucky. Once you’ve passed the crowded (and not in a good way) player selection menu you’ve faced the uncomfortably slow-mo-like battle that doesn’t feel like the TV series ‘ blazing fast war. Uncomfortable placement of exclusively cartoon characters on bland low-res 3-D fighting worlds is not helpful in any way. Perhaps part of the issue was the fact that the game from Japan took the better part of a decade to come to the US. It’s at least got a good range of Dragon Ball Z characters from different sagas. Considering searching for one of the Dragon Ball Z titles: Budokai series for a worth competitive DBZ warrior. 4.

Dragon Legend (PlayStation 2) Metacritic score: 38.5 What seems to be at least an OK fighting game at first, thanks to a semi-large character roster and fun enough 3-D cartoon graphics turns out to be a lot less than OK. Not enough players may even have been bothered to give it scores for consensus to be achieved so we took the user rating for the game’s Wii edition which only makes it a favor because that version had a higher critical rating. Sadly the one thing the game seemed to have been aiming for “the large roster” IGN notes wasn’t really impressive because all the characters looked the same. What should we have expected of a TV show based video game? Obviously nothing more than we might expect from a DBZ-based video game. 3.

Game Boy Advance Metacritic score: 26 Ready to whip out that Xbox One Kinect for a horrible gaming experience? Then, the game for you is Fighter Inside. Sure, shaking your own arm or kicking your own leg and watching the character replicate the motion on the screen may be enjoyable, but for you the fun will probably end there. Nearly none of the blows seem to give any kinetic energy to enemies until a combo is performed and you just stand idle when a combo happens. Slathered on top of poor and malicious controls, and equally sad AI, is a weak story. Don t expect a great deal from this game. The graphics can be accepted at least.

1. Dragon Ball: Evolution (PSP)

Recall from video games focused on TV shows, when we said not much could be expected? Perhaps less can be expected from video games based on films which in effect were based on television shows. The Dragon Ball: Evolution movie was already a heinously poor adaptation of the cartoon and perhaps this game did not depart too far from the source material in that way. This game is filled with bad music poor cutscenes and the ludicrous chance at the end of the game to beat up the protagonist s mother. This game’s fighting style may be the best of those on the list in an odd twist, but that wasn’t enough to save it from being the worst fighting game ever and among the top 40 worst games of all time in any genre. If you prefer to play a good fighter, check out our list of the top 10 games in the war. Have you been unfortunate enough to play any of these games?
