I was born and raised in Argentina, My Context My Brown Hair

. I always loved dancing for pictures with acting and striking poses. I’ve also been good at math, so I’ve developed a successful market research career. From Buenos Aires to London, my profession took me from working as an executive for top brands to having my own flowering agency. I have become an expert in image brands and in communicating emotions to people over these decades. I moved to London in the late 40s while employed in my former career. By that time, I had a deep feeling that I needed to change my life. I colored it as needed for my hair, even though I didn’t feel like I had time or natural interest in it. By that moment, the first silver strands had occurred and I felt like I was starting a new life chapter. Just making it good or bad was in my power. 227.jpg” />

A Need to Lighten My Day to Day

Along with dreaming about doing something new, I brought something to life that I had in mind since my early 40s. I was sick of wasting millions and hours with hairdressers painting my hair and dealing with time and money as a newcomer in London. Hiding my whites meant visiting the salon every week so finally getting rid of the every-week compulsory hairdresser visit fit perfectly with the possibility of investing that time and money in more rewarding things.

Deep Determination

The real truth was that veiled in a practical effect, I wanted to see profoundly how silver hair looked at me. I didn’t have any special apps to try on my future look like The Right Hairstyles ‘ Virtual Makeover. I had wanted that for many years, but I hadn’t found the determination until then, having lived in a more traditional society where women, regardless of their age, had to look young. I always noticed that well-groomed, gray-haired women were beautiful and comfortable, and that was the moment for me. I always wanted to experience how it will feel to accept my natural hair. September 2015 was the last coloring of my hair; now I just had to be patient and keep my decision.

What Gray Hair Brought

I almost got rid of the remaining tint for almost half a year and I was really confident with my new silver look that I felt happy with my photo. I also noticed that people were saying I love your hair I love your look everywhere I went. I could feel some sort of inspiration from women as if they were saying that I’d love to hide my age and be able to accept my grays. And I feel something like Wow about men! How good a confident, natural woman looks, even if she’s not young. I knew it helped me embrace aging too by wearing my silver hair. I started to feel more confident and more free than ever before. I became aware of the benefits that come with age Wisdom experience that leads to empathy for others and a kind of peaceful pride in my life. A conscious awareness that the product of one’s own choices was all I was. Wearing my white hair has been a way to tell the world I’m here at my age and it’s great to get older.

Designing a New Profession

By that time, the twist in my career had not yet been sorted out. I’ve been outlining a new way of life. I took some pictures for my website of the Market Research Agency and the photographer suggested that I was a natural model, so why not? With my new gray-haired look, I sent pictures to agencies and since then I’ve been booked non-stop for modeling and acting jobs. But it was (and is) my main ambition to motivate people to be brave to embrace change and follow their dreams. And it was like that I began using my new acting / modeling career and my gray hair as an inspiration for people to try to change the course of letting go of old things and values and chasing aspirations to be true and accept who we really are. I opened a conversation through my blog and social media to understand what lifetime and aging offer. That day, I’m still shaping. I discovered that if I speak my resonating truth and a lot of people get inspired, it’s my own inspiration and I feel really rewarded.

It was like telling the world that I am this age to stop hiding my white hair and embracing my silver look and I don’t want to return to being young again. I’ve already enjoyed it and gathered experiences that make me happy now. And as a secondary benefit that welcomes my gray hair, I have found the way to make a change in my career and find a new profession that I really enjoy. I have done my job if I can encourage one person to take a small step in the direction of his or her dreams.
