Bowl Cut

A with Color Specialist This look is another look on the famous haircut of Vidal Sassoon’s ‘ 60s Grace Coddington. The solid lines with a soft texture and the effortless coolness that it produces are my favorite thing about this look. If you want such a strong look, it is best worn on thicker smoother hair as it sits better on this type of hair. Although it might also work if someone has curlier hair or even finer hair. But they should be mindful of the need for more styling. I styled this look with Kevin Murphy Smooth. Again lotion sectioning it to the front of the head and blowing drying with a small circular bristle brush for extra clarity. I then used some Free. Hold Kevin Murphy paste to create soft movement after styling through the top section of the hair. My client who has this style is a creative person who has retro and particularly ‘ 60s love for all things. She loves wearing bold designs and oversized jewelry that goes with this style extremely well.

Polished Curtain Bangs Shag

A with Senior Stylist and Colorist This haircut looks amazing with natural hair texture and minimal styling but if someone isn’t ready for layers and movement I would deter them from taking this hairstyle into consideration. For women who want a new style without having to commit entirely to a fringe, curtain bangs are perfect. These are highly versatile and can be worn side-swept or center down. They’re also very easy to grow if they’re not loved by someone. To add texture to the look I just made a round brush blow out with R+Co’s Dallas thickening spray. I’m trying to stay away from things that can weigh the hair down because with a lot of movement I want maximum volume. I used dry shampoo from R+Co at the root after the blowout to give a grittier texture and volume to BadLands. I fooled her head’s crown to give her a little bump in the ‘ 60s. The dry shampoo helps to smooth the hair all day long. I ended R+Co’s elastic hairspray with Outer Space.

A with Freelance Hairdresser in Surrey / Middlesex England This look reminds me of the age of the sixties. I love the shape and smoothness of the large volume. The height is very hot at the moment in the top and chignon bun, but it also has a retro vibe. For hair style, everything comes back and it’s very sexy! I love to always make a touch of vintage. If you’re planning to try this style, you’ll need hair past the ears, preferably one length and thick. Before putting up, the hair will need to be smoothed out first and padding of the hair is necessary to achieve a complete look. This look is perfect as well as any special event for a bride bridesmaid or wedding guest.

Elegant ‘ 60s Updo

A with Haidresser / Stylist / Colorist I’d describe this look as an updo 60s look. It was made with this theme for a party and I was influenced by this period’s Czech movie. My favorite thing about this one’s updo hairstyles is its supremacy. It’s up but it looks still elegant. The side fringe makes the entire updo smoother.

revised Oct 9, 2019.What kind of person would work best for this look? This look is a lot of work to keep so it’s great for you if you enjoy being in the salon. It takes time to get a blonde’s ice voice. This look is great for a young person who wants something sleek and fashionable. What’s your best tip for someone who takes this look into consideration? Invest in and be patient with good products! This look took us to complete for more than seven months. Her natural color is six darker grades, and if done wrong, it can be a detrimental service. Always use a builder of bonds like Olaplex. Listening to your stylist is the most important thing. Not rushing this service is so critical!

A with Casey Bailey Style Creator How would you characterize this look and what is your favorite? I’d describe this look as a fun, cute bob with a textured medium length. The flexibility is my favorite thing about it. This bob can be worn up or down straight and looks good at all times! Bob’s hairstyles are perfect for older women on little girls. To achieve this look, first you need to be blonde, then add Natural hair coloring in midnight blue apple green and ebony for color depth! Such colors are going to need to reach every two to six weeks. To keep your hairstyles bright and shiny, I prefer less sulfate-free shampoo in lukewarm water. Try to use less direct styling water and use dry shampoo in between days to improve the color’s durability! What kind of person would work best for this look? Such kinds of hairstyles definitely work better on the more daring and artistic types and those who do not fear the extra attention that comes with having fun colored hair! I feel like this bob can be pulled off by almost any face shape but I personally like the straight-edged blunter cut with my round face to suit it. For my pale skin I feel like I can pull off almost any hair color I want, but with any skin tone these darker turquoise greens work well. This look is definitely more suitable for those in their jobs who have freedom. This look will love any career that allows a person to express their creativity. What’s your best tip for someone who takes this look into consideration?

Undercut Cute Pixie

What’s your favorite thing about this look? In order to help create and maintain this look, which items would you recommend? The sweet cut has two items with goods that need to be discussed. Next, I suggest using the Alchemist silver shampoo and conditioner from Davine to preserve the shine. That will keep that silvery lavender blonde color while conditioning the hair keeping the vibrant dark metallic purple root shadow and not stripping the color. Second, this cut has a lot of texture, so I also suggest a good posture to show off. I like the Invisible Serum from Davine to give brilliance and a piece of texture. What kind of person would work best for this look? I think this cut looks great on almost all shapes of the face, but I think it’s best on a face shaped like a square or heart. Because the longer side bang helps balance a short forehead, it’s perfect for the heart-shaped face. As far as skin tone is concerned, since it has dark / metallic / ashy colors, it will work best for someone with cool undertones. This will complement the best of somebody with blue or green eyes. I think somebody who wants / needs super low maintenance hair works best with this style of cut. The color would need more upkeep and financial commitment as far as salon maintenance is concerned. Nonetheless, being short, switching the style colors will be simpler than a long-haired client. How would you describe this look and what is your favorite? This look is a shag that’s classic. My favorite thing about it is that everyone looks good! It’s a fun, colorful look that anyone can wear. In order to help create and maintain this look, what items would you recommend? I recommend that you use Oribe Texture Spray Bumble Surf Spray or Don’t Blow Out and R Co Chiffon Mousse Styling. I use a salt spray such as Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray or R + Co Chiffon Styling Mousse on straight / wavy hairstyles. Place the hair in sections when it is wet twist skin, then let it dry or dry air with a low blow dryer to create a textured look. You can use 1-inch curling iron to create waves if you want a more finished look. Only cut out the ends so it looks messier and more lived-in. Complete with an Oribe Texture Spray spray. What kind of person would work best for this look? The cut works on anyone with a carefree lifestyle that is easy to do. It’s great for the cool girl who loves a wash and a sexy, messy look. It also looks great in any form of the head. What’s your best tip for someone who takes this look into consideration? Not to over-style is the best tip! You don’t want to see this over either. Long Sleek Cute Hair

A with Hairstylist Assistant How would you describe this look and what is your favorite? In order to help create and maintain this look, what items would you recommend? A decent smoothing serum would be the main item to recreate this style to calm the strands and add extra shine. What kind of person would work best for this look? For someone with straight hair with a little weight, this style is perfect. In terms of styling, it is super easy to maintain and very versatile. What’s your best tip for someone looking at this look? Jessica Woznicki / A with> Jessica Woznicki

Cute Quick

Marcella Rizzuto/> A with> Marcella Rizzuto Hairstylist This is a soft but confident tool to help create and maintain this look? I highly recommend using a salt spray for this particular textured look. I’m using Rockaway R+Co hair salt spray. You don’t need much of it, and without going crunchy it gives you the beachy grit you crave. Then, chuck it into the cold. Before using a flat iron, I used Kevin Murphy’s Damage. Manager to defend it against fire. I finished up some bits with half turns once the hair was dry while leaving out the ends for a more comfortable look. Spray the Rockaway allle and voila a little more! I suggest getting a trim every six weeks to maintain this slice. What kind of person would work best for this look? For someone with medium to fine hair, this look will work best. With this length, there are no layers, so it makes someone with finer hair look fuller! You may have some natural wave, but it will take a lot of curls longer to make sure you know if you are ready for that commitment if you have those waves. If your hair is too thick, it will take a lot of styling time and the effortless look will be more difficult to achieve. For this cut, you can definitely have any hair color or skin tone and what’s your best tip for someone who takes this look into account?

Icy Queen Braids

Jenna Herbert /> A with> Jenna Herbert How are you going to describe this look and what is your favorite? This is an overall look of the ice queen with the cute braids. The shine is my favorite thing! For this look, what items do you recommend? I will suggest Schwarzkopf Extra Power Lightener with 30 volume for cosmetics, although the strength of the manufacturer will depend on the natural level of the customer as well as the condition of the hair and overall health. I used Fiberplex Bond Builder in my Fanola No Yellow shampoo shampoo with Schwarzkopf 9-1 and 9.5-1 with 1.9% developer and finished with the Fiberplex 2 shampoo. I used Unite 7 Second leave-in and AgaveOil for styling. I finished smoothing with Bed Head After Party after drying. Women who are a natural blonde or who usually have a cool teint pull this look off the best. But if most people get it right, they will wear it in some way when it’s tailored for them! What’s your best tip to recreate / maintain this color / I always get my bleach out customers to come in on a four to seven week appointment schedule depending on how quickly their hair is growing and how dark their natural color is. You risk overlapping and splitting if they arrive too early. When they wait too long, you are likely to end up banding as the hair nearest to the root rises more easily.

Chic, sweet BobWhat kind of person would work best for this look? I guess it’d work best for someone with medium to thick skin. It could take a little too much weight to lay fine or curly hair. She happens to have a heart-shaped face that is balanced by the fringe, but I may not put a bang on someone with a round face shape. The cut is very flexible in general. You can wear is smooth and professional or you can add twists and texture to a feeling of rocker. What’s your best tip for someone who takes this look into consideration? That’s certainly a bob comment! You’re probably going to do some styling every day with this style, but this length of hair doesn’t really take time and is super flexible. If you want to look longer at your neck and show your lovely cheekbones, this may be ideal for you. Icicle-Blonde Cute Layered Shag

JoAnn Ls/>A with> JoAnn Ls Hairstylist This is a vintage-inspired blonde riot girl. Amanda is both a primary teacher in a rock band as well as a singer and bass player, and she needs to look amazing and do all things professionally. The voice is very blonde with Hitchcock. I think it’s an edge, but it’s modern tasteful and flattering. It’s not important at my client’s expense. Amanda is trying to make her hair grow out and I love it doesn’t look like that’s what’s happening. When it grows out, the hair should always have form and style, otherwise it may look frumpy and it may become too tempting to cut it off impulsively. In order to help create and maintain this look, what items would you recommend? The hair of Amanda is very fine and flat, but at the same time it can be dry and fragile. During the color process, I used a Uberliss treatment mixed with my lightener to keep her hair in the best condition. I styled exclusively with R+Co (which is my favorite product line) after her color and cut, using One Prep to even out porosity and make her hair easy to detach and High Dive combined with Park Ave (my favorite smooth blowout cocktail) before blowing it dry with both a vent and a flat comb. I worked for 60 percent of the blow dry against the growth patterns to neutralize growth patterns and give it extra body and then blow it into the final shape. I finished with Badlands Dry Shampoo Paste to bring out the cut texture and give her hair a living-in texture natural bed head. You could also bring this air dry in a consistency cream. The upkeep of my customers is very poor, so the cut must be able to stand alone. Platinum is a color with high maintenance that requires regular touch-ups and toning to keep it looking nice. A little dark root can actually look very revolutionary, but if you wait too long between touch-ups, keeping the color consistent becomes expensive and difficult. Platinum hair works surprisingly well on a number of hair types and complexions, not for the weak of the soul. Depending on the person, it can be soft or punky, and although it is a current trend, it is timeless. Making it work has primarily to do with getting the right degree and tonality as well as having an honest and professional hairdresser that will give you reasonable expectations and will not compromise the integrity of your hair. Excessively damaged hair doesn’t have a good color or coloring, so keeping the hair moisturized and freshly cut is a must for lovely hair. As far as the cut is concerned, this is ideal for fine to medium hair with a wavy to straight texture as it lays right with minimal styling but can be modified to fit a variety of hair types. If it’s not too thick, it might also be good on curlier hair. What’s your best tip for someone who takes this look into consideration? Please consult and work with a trustworthy and reliable truthful and professional hairdresser and then trust their dream. The color is high maintenance, but the cut is not at all, so think about how much or how little time you want to spend on your hair.

Ella Lavaggi /> A with Creator Style Ella Lavaggi Hairstylist How would you characterize this look and what is your favorite?

Caleigh Giarra /> A with Caleigh Giarra Style Hairstylist How would you describe this look and what is your favorite? In order to help create and maintain this look, what items would you recommend? I always start with a thermal protective and I chose Kerastase Ciment Thermique for this look because it is lightweight but very reinforcing. Before drying the hair, I also added a couple of Kerastase L’incroyable Blowdry pumps, which is a heat lotion that can be reshaped to help keep your look up to 72 hours or help change it (reshapable). I then treated only the mid-strands of the hair with a 1-inch curling iron after blow-drying smoothly. I sprayed Shu Uemura Sheer Laquer’s mist to finish, followed by Shu Uemura Texture Wave. What kind of person would work best for this look? Because it’s so easy to look at this groomed beach wave, I think that just about anyone can do it. It’s an easy way to groom and smooth the hair quickly for coarse hair while still maintaining some muscle. For fine hair, adding some ‘ oomph ‘ is a quick way. I think this look will give some spunk while it doesn’t overdo it. And the best thing about all this is a great way to work your second day hair when you get to the dry shampoo! What’s your best tip for someone who takes this look into consideration?

Cute Textured Bob

Taylor Meyers /> A with> Taylor Meyers How are you going to describe this look and what is your favorite? This blunt bob is edgy as well as flexible. My favorite thing about it is that it is so easy to create and maintain this look for which products would you recommend? I definitely recommend the size and texture of Badlands by R+Co. What kind of person would work best for this look? What’s your best tip for someone looking at this look? When you cut off a lot of time, I always advise you to wait two weeks to be sure if you still want it to go for it!

Splash light!

Make sure that the cut is finished and balanced correctly. Don’t think about cutting the back short and heading to the front for a very dramatic angle. This is what makes it so fun to look like! Wherever you choose to put the accent color board, make sure it enhances the cut shape and does not detract from the beautiful lines. Use diagonal slices while foiling so that instead of lying in rows the colors blend together.

Long to Short Layers

This is a long haircut with shorter front layers to frame the face. The layers in the front are my favorite thing about the haircut as they accentuate the shape of her face and show off her natural color and shine. In order to help create and maintain this look, what items would you recommend? The Soy Tri-Wheat Leave-in Conditioner from Sexy Hair and the Chi Silk Infusion are the items I use to help maintain this look. Add dried hair to towel before blowing off. What kind of person would work best for this look? This half layered haircut and style would look best for anyone with a rounder face to make their face look longer. This cut would be perfect for people with straight hair who don’t want to spend a lot of time in the morning on their hair as they can quickly pass a flat iron or curling iron in the front frame section to give it a fast look or just wake up and go! What I say to someone who is considering this look is to make sure they either already have a middle part or up to a middle part of their daily hairstyle. If they are not used to having a middle section, they may need to train their hair to break the middle down.

Ash Blonde Balayage

What’s your favorite thing about this look? This is a balayage of ash blonde. My favorite thing about it is the transformation from roots to ends What items do you suggest to help create and maintain this appearance? I used the hair color line from Kenra so I would highly recommend the shampoo and conditioner from Kenra Brightening. Both have applied a hint of violet to this particular shampoo and conditioner to keep the blonde vivid. What kind of person would work best for this look? What’s your best tip for someone who takes this look into consideration? Keep your hair as healthy as possible and avoid excessive styling of water. This look requires a lot of focus that can affect the body. My favorite healthy hair product is Olaplex 3 once a week. It’s also a perfect way to reinforce hair before a trip to the salon.

Lovely waves

For someone who likes low maintenance, this look is perfect. Because it’s screening, a consumer can go much further without being hit. The color pop works great for someone who wants to add an exciting dimension to their hair but doesn’t feel comfortable engaging in an overtly edgy look. Someone in a professional work environment, for example, or a mother. What’s your best tip for someone who takes this look into consideration? A few tips would be to make sure your employer is all right with artificial colors for someone contemplating this look. Always know that on each person, color pops like blue and purple last differently. Expect the part of the look to fade more quickly than the rest. And finally, this light can sometimes take a couple of appointments so be patient!

Modern Bombshell

A with> Holly Seidel Hairstylist How are you going to describe this look and what is your favorite? I like to think of this as a layered cut with a classic bombshell. This look is cut for volume and movement with bangs of medium length that frame the face with sexy layers. I love the attractiveness of most aspects of the eyes. In order to help create and maintain this look, what items would you recommend? What kind of person would work best for this look? Because the layers around the face can be adjusted to different lengths to flatter different face shapes, this cuts literally work on any face shape. For this layered cut, the best texture is medium to thick. What’s your best tip for someone who takes this look into consideration? Take some shaping with a round brush or large rollers after hard drying to give it the finished curvy look if you are considering this slice. In between cuts, most stylists often offer free bang trims that will keep this style looking fresh for a long time.

A with> Grace Hairstylist How are you going to describe this look and what is your favorite? This look is a blonde balayage hot copper. My favorite thing about this look is that by keeping her natural base, we embraced her natural gold skin. To establish this look, I suggest using your favorite bond builder / multiplier with a lower volume developer. For Wella Blondor lightener and b3 Brazilian Bond Builder, I used 30 volume builder. I didn’t have to tone her hair because we needed her lighter colors to be welcomed. What kind of person would work best for this look? For someone who needs a low-maintenance hair color and has fair to medium light skin tones, this look is best suited.

Cute Short Bangs praiseIt’s a free, subtle side look! I think when we use the terms side pony we instantly picture the side pony back in the 80s that looked like a horse’s tail was sticking to your head’s side without much thought! We’re all about new and improved designs these days and the side pony certainly makes a slow return but in a much more subtle and loose manner. My favorite thing about this style is how flexible and enjoyable it is! I do think it’s a revived 80’s look I can recreate in a new fashion! I’d also look at their hair type and feel it’s a tricky style that may not always fit all the shapes of the face and the texture of the hair. I’m a very visual person, too. So even if I just look at them and have a different opinion, I always build a template for us to see (or a fast version) before we make a final decision because sometimes we can surprise ourselves!

Cute Layered Pixie

A with Artist How are you going to describe this look and what’s your favorite? This is a sweet pixie cut with a rim. The pixie haircut is certainly a prime choice of trendy hairstyles for girls if you have the right facial characteristics to match. The fringe ties together the whole look. I cut her fringe using a freehand technique that facilitated her right side movement by sliding her hair from short to long. In order to help create and maintain this look, what items would you recommend? I used the No. 4 product line’s surface styling cream. A matte texture finish cream with a slight hold can help to create a soft feminine finish within the individual hair strands. A person who wants to wear their haircut as a style rather than rely on styling equipment and products (round brushes curling irons and hairsprays) to build their look is the type of person this haircut is most appropriate for. More is more than that! What’s your best tip for someone who takes this look into consideration? Have the confidence and trust to have the look. Hair grows back, but you’re not ready if you ask yourself how long it takes to grow back. Would you like to be special!

Long Layers

This look is flirtatious and enjoyable for someone who enjoys a natural bounce on their hair without using beach waves and styling devices. It’s also for someone who has gorgeous hair that can take the attention and care. My favorite thing about it is that not everyone is doing the same thing right now. I love the confidence she has in a classic blowout to love her hair. Less is more at times. How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it? This look is a cute ponytail, romantic and effortless. Recreation is simple and even gives a boho atmosphere! I love looking at it loose and almost undone. In order to help create and maintain this look, which items would you recommend? I used some clip-in extensions for this cool haircut. I suggest switching between light and dark extension parts to keep it looking natural and consistent throughout the braid when you have colored balayed or multi-tone hair. I’m going to taunt and spritz on the Huge Sexy Hair Resin Spray to prepare for the extension to last all night. This works like magic to create a strong foundation from which the clip can fall into and hold the entire night. What kind of person would work best for this look? For almost anyone who likes the cute romantic boho or girl-on – the-go look, this look would be perfect! I love it with a variety of colors and textures. If your hair is crazy curly / kinky, first you’re going to want to blow it smooth as it’s a more relaxed look. It’s a great style to go from day to night! What’s your best tip for someone who takes this look into consideration? Be sure to build a good stop base for the videos to rest in if you’re using extensions. This makes it much easier to realize that the hair doesn’t go anywhere. Sometimes, whether or not you wear extensions, make sure you pull the braid apart to loosen it a little. It makes the braid look bigger and faster.

A with Owner / Creative Director How are you going to describe this look and what is your favorite? This is a stylish edge classic cool wavy bob. At the nape, it has a very thin broken undercut to topple the skin. I love a plain, flexible cut with a bold colour. There are so many trendy bobs to choose from that can make a huge difference by using the right style. For this look I’ve used all the surface hair care products. First a smooth protein cream then added energy. For elastic texture, I applied Crave a matte clay-based paste to damp skin. I then used Taffy wax to finish, which is a spray that can be molded and moisturized. What kind of person would work best for this look? (Hair styles face shapes skin tone .) This look is perfect for someone who likes low maintenance and living-in texture. It’s great for oval or heart-shaped face shapes because it adds stability to the jaw and square lines. It’s so flexible that a fashionable blogger might wear it with beachy waves or a strong businesswoman might wear it is smoothed out and elegant to meetings.

Sweet and Classy

Caleigh Giarra Owner This is a sweet look that is classy. My thing about this, of course, is the bangs! I would also like to point out that this look is a hairstyle for the second day. Use the previous day’s loose curls to add a little dry shampoo and one or two bobby pins and you’re done! In order to help create and maintain this look, which items would you recommend? A dry shampoo and/or texture spray like Shu Uemura’s Dry Cleaner and Texture Wave would be the things I would suggest. What kind of person would work best for this look? To answer this question, I would like to point out the bangs. Bangs can be tricky and up-to-date! But if you’re up to the challenge, they can be so beautiful to complement and tie a look together. Bangs are great if you want face framing to add some soft wispiness or even some edge to your look. I would always recommend the use of a blow dryer with such bangs. Sometimes I’m going to let them dry air first and hit them with the blow dryer quickly just to add some movement. This is also what I do for a little refresh on the second day. I don’t always use a round comb, but you might need to use one if you need to move your bangs to go in some direction (or away from some direction). Hair Style
