I love this hairstyle!

It’s a simple, feminine form and it’s silky and elegant! I used one of the newest shades of Aveda’s brunette. The style is a long-angled, layer-free bob. I recommend this look certainly. It’s trendy and modern.

Professional Pixie

This design is what we’d term an ‘ undercut pixie ‘ – the back and sides are quite a difference from the top size, which also gives style flexibility. I like the way my models are enhanced by the natural color on the back and sides and the lightening on the top adds some contrast to the cut. You don’t need a lot of styling products for this haircut if enough has been cut into the hair by the stylist. Some styles of hair can be short like this, but the stylist will have to change the style to fit in this shape. We agree it doesn’t matter what face shape you have if you enjoy a haircut! Short hair is easy to style and enjoyable, and your personal style and personality should be reflected. Maintenance will take place every four to six weeks.

Cute Side Braid

Make-up Artist This is a long-hair look. A braid of the fishtail. I love a fishtail braid because it’s easy, but you’ve made an effort to look beautiful! And as nonsense and big as you want, you can do it! Oh and the color of the hair in this braid comes out perfect! Use a hair product to make your hair a bit rough. Don’t be too close in your braid. Finally, take the braid out to make it big! To make the braid bigger, you can use hair extensions.I love this look, it really suits the shape of any head. It’s great to dress up or dress up. This blonde is a great fit for any form, but with your skin tone, I would hopefully see what blondes work best. As for maintenance coming in to keep the blonde looking new and moving through blonding sessions for no longer than 3 months. It’s low maintenance cost-effective and it doesn’t take time to design. I still prescribe a hair regimen as well. Use a heat-protector and 1’1/4 leave-in conditioner to match your hair type? Curling iron inch barrel. Complete this design by adding sea salt spray or texture spray to give the beach look undone. This takes about 5-10 min to curl. Good for any lifestyle.

How are you going to describe this look and what is your favorite? I’d call it a longer lob haircut model. It can be worn at various lengths and can still be pulled back into a ponytail. That little bit of interest is offered by the slight drop in the front. To assist with gray blending, we keep her highlights a very fine stitch also called babylights. It means that when it grows back in giving it a more natural appearance, its regrowth won’t be as harsh. The products I used in her style began with the 7 Leave-In Conditioner from Unite. It helps to deflect and incorporate a thermal shielding that is light enough with other items to coat and cocktail. Then at her roots to mid shaft I used Bumble and bumble Thickening Full Form Mousse. Finally we finished on the ends with a little U-oil from Unite. Round brush with a barrel of 2 3/4-inch (Tip: the larger the barrel, the more straight the skin, the smaller the barrel, the more curl). I always needed a curve. Terminate with Huge Sexy Spray and hairspray game. For a variety of women, this style can really work. It is a low maintenance cut that does not require much care on the part of the company. The subtle layers give it a simple curling style that can be worn or a messy bedhead look that’s my personal favorite. The longer angle in the front is sleek and if correctly styled, it can be worn on any face shape. A good lesson in fashion is just as critical as a slice. Pixie Perfect

How are you going to describe this look and what is your favorite? This look gives you comfort as well as personality. She is a director, but she has a disposition that is rebellious. I like this style because she wanted a short cut when she first came to my medium hair salon, but all previous hairstylists had said she couldn’t cut her hair because it was thick and rough and her face was so big. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? I suggest shampoo DeDe and conditioner Davines to retain the moisture and softness of the skin. After a dry blow you can use Delcolore Italy’s Mirage Wax. You can use wax or Volume Creator from Davines on top when you go to a party. This look is for those with medium or thick hair that you can cut. You can also cut thin hair but switch the procedure on top of it. This look matches a wide jawline or a round head. This look is for women who have a personality but still look soft and perfect for both job and partying in the office.

A with Lead Stylist How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite thing about it?I feel like somebody will rock this bob you just need to tweak it to that particular person. I’d leave a little more of the length if you have more of a round face to help contour the jawline.

Super Layered Bob

How would you characterize this look and what’s your favorite? This is a graduated bob with a super surface. It is coated to test the boundaries of the pixies. What I love about it is that it can be tucked and alluded right to expose the super feminine features of this client like a pixie cut or it can be smoothed and placed in front of the ears to create a more structured and symmetrical graduated bob for a stronger statement. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? For volumizing styling products such as Imperial Blowout from Oribe, this particular look is great to offer the root completeness and help those layers reach their full potential. Follow it up with a finisher like the whipped finishing cream of Oribe’s Airstyle to break down those layers to establish a less fluffy and more lived feel. A princess of the 90’s is born! There’s something mystical about a sexy pixie-like cut on someone I like to call elf or features like a fairy. They reveal the face of a person and draw attention to the most attractive features of people, such as their eyes. We are great on faces formed by the heart as well. This naturally draws attention away from a broader front and towards the ears and softer features such as the nose and chin by applying a long asymmetric fringe. Pixies are very youthful in the way they show and frame slender necks and can be very dramatic just by mixing up a part or product regimen. They can be very textured for someone who wants to scrunch and go straight to wavy hair or can be very structured for someone with any type of hair to give off a bold strong look. All in all, for anyone looking to show off their risky but confident personality, there is a short pixie-ish slice.

Asymmetrical Bob With Layering

How are you going to describe this look and what is your favorite? This is an asymmetric bob on one hand straight across and on the other a-line. It has a square layering in the back that makes the volume in the nape collapse without producing much of the stacked look. My favorite thing about this cut is that in a traditional professional setting it is fascinating but completely wearable for women. It’s an easy-to-style cut that gives women a sleek look. This cut is also very flexible. You can wear it straight or wavy and add a little curl and lots of energy to the longer side to really amplify it for a night out it’s fun to smooth down the short side. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? Until finishing with a flat iron, add a tiny bit of a shine material if you still need more smoothness and shine. For this, I love the Kerastase Elixir Ultime because a little goes a very long way and it’s a fine spray so it’s evenly distributed through the skin. For someone with a medium texture and thickness, this cut is perfect. On someone with very fine hair, the sharpness will be lost. Avoid cutting on really thick hair because at the bottom it’s likely to end up very bulky. It will offer an elongating impact to people who want to reduce their face’s width. I f somebody’s an everlasting hair tucker the cut won’t be perfect. If the hair on both sides is always tucked behind the head, it is better to go straight from front to back with a bob. An a-line like this tends to create too much heavy bulk in this area when tucked behind the ear. That’s part of the reason we decided to take this client tucks straight across the side.

To achieve this look, I’m using my 1 1/4-inch BioIonic Stylewinder Iron to get the curl to break the look. Last but not least, to top it off, I use Kenra Dry Texture Spray. With practice and patience, any professional working can achieve this look. On any face shape and hair texture, a slight angle and long layers flatter the key is simply knowing how to create this look. It is important to find a professional stylist to work with and be able to communicate freely what you are searching for in order to do this. The rest is easy when you locate the stylist.

Lovely Side Bun

By mixing two braid techniques, Dutch Braid and Fishtail, I developed this look on Angel. It’s all made with just 4-5 bobby pins! My favorite thing about it is that she can wear it in two ways – down or wrapped the fishtail as shown in a side bun in the photo. This is a great look for a customer with long hair and minimal layers and looks especially nice if the customer has dimensional colors like Angel’s in her hair. Once you begin the braids, you certainly need a smoothing cream to prepare the hair to ensure smoothness once you take them out for completeness. It’s a great look for bridesmaids special events or if you just want a fun night out updo! Short Textured Pixie

How are you going to explain this look and what is your favorite? This is a pixie cut with a short texture. I love how quickly the hair top falls into place while maintaining a lot of movement. I suggest using a dry shampoo to improve this haircut’s texture as well as a shaping wax to create a soft piecey grip. I used Dry Shampoo Shampoo from Aveda and Shaping Wax from Aveda Light Elements. I recommend this look for someone with medium to thick hair who can make regular visits to the salon to maintain the short cut. For someone who wants a fun and trendy look that is easily styled as well, it would be a great fit.

Bright Bouncy Layers ‘
Modern Shattered Twist Classic Bob

A with Master Stylist This is a classic bob with a modern shattered twist. The light piecey bang kept just below the browline is my favorite thing about this look. This feature allows a timeless look to add an edgy feel. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? I still start to dry quickly with My Amazing Shake and Spray and add brightness to the look. You can add hairspray from there and do it if necessary … or we can play! Use liberally My Amazing Dry Shampoo to add lift and volume to bring some height to the style. To accentuate the texture cocktail your favorite pomade with My Awesome Complete and Thick Spray Gel and add your hands to the scalp shaking out as you go to pull out the broken texture. Don’t forget to spray hairspray directly into your hands and use it to finish the look with the click! It should be relatively easy to maintain a short and precise bob like this. The subtle layering and texture will make styling simple. This look is best suited for minimal to no curl styles of medium to fine hair. With thicker or curly hair, it can be achieved, but it will take a fair amount of styling effort. This looks beautiful on a longer neck and perfectly complements longer slender faces as it will round off the head naturally. The chic bob can be worn with any lifestyle since the cut is long enough for lazy days or workouts to be pulled back into a short ponytail.

Long Textured Pixie Cut

A with Owner / Licensed Cosmetologist How do you explain this look and what is your favorite? I’d describe this look as a pixie cut with a long texture. My client can find it extremely easy to dress on a daily basis and is very flexible. There are so many ways to wear it as I left a bit of length in the front. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? I recommend washing and cleaning with DevaCurl’s Low Poo and One Condition to recreate this look at home. This leaves the hair extra hydrated and helps when spreading or letting hair air dry naturally to protect against frizz. This look is great for thick-haired girls with some natural hair movement and are not afraid to be short. This is the cut for you if you want to look chic with minimal work!!

Icy Blonde Waves Dimensional

Long-term maintenance to keep the blonde looking fresh, I recommend washing with a purple shampoo at least once a week. Artego Shiny Gray Shampoo is always used in the studio, accompanied by our Blueberry Color Shine Mask for added moisture and sound! For someone who wants a good balance between professional and low maintenance, I suggest this look. When air is dried or styled out, the color will look perfect. I recommend the ice blonde look and depth around the face for someone who wants to pop their eye color (blue eyes with this color really light up). I wouldn’t recommend going as ice blonde as it helps to bring out the color in your face if you have a lot of red undertones in your hair. Try a nice honey blonde hair color if you have warmer tones to complement your skin tone better!

A with Hair Designer / Make-up Artist How do you describe this look and what is your favorite? This look was inspired by the need for my client, a professional woman, to get a quick and easy style in the morning. She wanted a look that was masculine at the same time, no-nonsense. What products do you recommend for this look to be maintained and recreated? I recommend that Supershine Light Moisturizing Cream (Oribe Haircare) be added to damp hair for light leave-in at the ends. Blow dry with a 1-inch round brush then create texture and separation with the Dry Texture Spray from Oribe and the Rough Luxury Molding Paste. Finish with a light misting of the Superfine Hairspray from Oribe. This look is great for women with medium to thick hair who have no fear of being short. This look is very versatile and can be worn professionally or out casually on the city!

A with Master Stylist How are you going to describe this look and what is your favorite? This style is a classic asymmetrical wavy bob with blunt ends and layers of texture. The bob is a classic style that will never be obsolete, but it makes it more modern by incorporating asymmetric lines to the cut. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? A volumizer at the root is important for motion in styling the asymmetric bob. We used Volume Unite Expanda and Mousse Unite on her wet hair. We used Unite Texturiza Finishing Spray as a finisher on her dry hair to break up her layers and give her a lived look. The lovely thing about the modern asymmetric bob is that it can be perfect for all styles of hair. The cut line usually flatters the jawline and, depending on how you cut the layers, can cover or accentuate any hair texture. The longer layers around the face really show off her natural S-shaped waves for this client and the shorter layers in the back control her naturally thick hair’s weight. All in all, it’s a perfect cut and style for both work and play. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? I suggest the Be Curly Co-Wash from Aveda. The Co-Wash is a cleansing conditioner designed to adequately purify the scalp from regular build-up while conditioning the hair to keep it smooth and convenient. Follow-up with Aveda’s Damage Remedy Intensive Treatment Mask for one week of treatment. This will help with color processing to restore and improve the skin. I used the Smooth Infusion Style Prep from Aveda and the Smooth Infusion Nourishing Cream from Aveda for styling. My guest was very frizzy and curly. This will help control it without too much weighing down or straightening the hair. For anyone, this look is great! In this light, the chocolate and honey tones are very flexible for any age group and appropriate for almost any occupation. It’s a look that’s very lived-in and very feminine.

Cool Pixie

A with Owner The theme for this season is so stylish. Fresh, textured pixies make a huge splash throughout the world of fashion. I label it a flirty and trendy pixie. Everything I love about this look is that it takes her lips and her great smile to the best featuresher of my client’s face. My client used to have long hair and I proposed that one day we cut it off and revitalize her look completely. She can’t imagine having long hair again now! What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? I believe in using minimal products but sometimes the better with this style depending on the hair volume and thickness of your client. Upon blowing, I used Sebastian Mousse Forte. Upon drying I used for density and a little grit Kevin Murphy Powder. Puff and Kevin Murphy Easy. Rider for some texture and separation. I finished with Kadus Extra Lock Hairspray in order to set the whole look.

Short and Casual

How are you going to describe this look and what is your favorite? What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? With a smoothing lotion, the elegant and trendy look can be achieved. My go-to products for the blowout are either Pureology Smooth Perfection or Brazilian Blowout Serum. Ouidad Flexible Hold Spray or Brazilian Blowout Shine Spray are my favorite finishing products. I use this style with front length variations and graduation number depending on the hair texture. The size of the fringe is dependent on what features of the face I want to accentuate. For my curly girls, this is also a great look. To women who are willing to take the time to blow out and finish the look, I suggest this style. Generally this isn’t a wash and go slice. My favorite part of this haircut is that while being a fun and professional style, it has the perfect mix of long and short hair. What products do you recommend for this look to be maintained and recreated? I recommend a lightweight shampoo and conditioner for recreating this look with products. My preference is Sheer Hydrate Pureology. Use a mid-shaft to end oil and a root raise to blow dry with weight. I favor Wella Root Shoot’s Harmony Amazon Oil and Eimi. To finish, I used Harmony Amazon Mist to curl with a lightweight hairspray and heat-protective.

Sassy Little Bob

/ Manager How are you going to describe this look and what is your favorite? What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? Freeway defining spray gel and Mannequin Paste from R+Co are my two favorite products to create this look. Both of them are great things! I used Freeway on this cut because my customer’s hair is naturally curly and the brand holds the curl without feeling like the product is in the skin. I would use Mannequin Paste to either smooth or add texture when I do this style straight and elegant. This look is great for someone who always wants to look together without a lot of styling being maintained! This needs a trim every four to six weeks to retain the slice. This type of cut is good for a variety of hair types including naturally curly / wavy straight or thick hair and can also be worn on a variety of different shapes of the face. You can change layers and fringe around the face according to the customer’s best look depending on the face shape! What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? Simplicity is essential. For styling, I would suggest a L’Oréal Kerastase gloss spray while applying some texture and maybe a little dry wax when finished for a polish finish. I recommend this look and cut for the relaxed, funky and easy-going customer. It’s great for those who don’t have much time to style their hair, but still want to show that they have swag and style. I think any hair texture and type can make a pixie look like this but it would be ideal for women with a long neck and an oval face shape. Stylish Modern-Day Shag

/ Colorist How are you going to describe this look and what’s your favorite? What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? Caviar Thick Fuller Volume Mousse is highly recommended. I used a large boar’s hair round brush for the blowout when recreating this look to create fullness and improve hair smoothness. Follow up for a more playful style with Matrix Texture Builder. For anyone with long straight or curly hair, I suggest this look. Every natural texture of hair will give a different style to this haircut. The face framing layers describe cheekbones and jawlines to tailor the haircut for all shapes of the head. This look is definitely for someone who wants to show that they have a fun and friendly personality but who likes to keep it professional if possible. Soft Modern Flow

How are you going to describe this look and what is your favorite? This is a light, modern, mid-length look. The long layered cut and style enhances movement and form with a one-dimensional color in particular. While due to her oval face shape she can pull off most hairstyles, the off-center portion offers asymmetry and highlights her cheekbones and striking features. I used the Original Treatment Oil and Hydration Styling Cream from Moroccanoil as a basis for preparing her hair to nourish it and make it shine. I also used the Volume Mousse from Moroccanoil to improve lift and bounce. Upon blowing drying I curled her hair for that undone texture in alternating directions and then brushed it out for a smooth look of the wave. I finished with Luminous Hairspray from Moroccanoil to control and hold flyaways. With most types of hair, this fresh and modern look is very versatile. This works by tucking the lighter side behind the ear or pulling it back and pinning it into a low chignon for day night and even special occasions. Form of hair
