Lob Haircut

It’s a long (lob) bob. It is a bit shorter in the back and a bit longer in the front with some layers to add volume and motion. This is the natural color of her hair. I love this style and cut it all because it looks easy. We used two hair styling materials. I applied Aveda Be Curly curl enhancer first and a small amount of Aveda Confixor gel afterwards. Then we spread it over medium heat and velocity. The suggestions that someone feels about it? This length and haircut is a classic and may be symmetrical. This cut allows you to have a certain volume without getting your hair too long. This looks great on all the forms of the head and is not a lot of maintenance. This bob is great and fits most of the lifestyle.

Deva Spiral Specialized Cut

Layered Curls

QA with> Salon Belor in Cape Cod Ma My favorite volume with this curly layered bob! When curls are cut dry and you can tailor the form to each client in their natural state. I like keeping the perimeter fairly square and solid, but I use little or no pressure when I add the layers to avoid too much slicing. The design is all about curly hair! What products do you recommend for this look to be maintained and recreated? I recommend sulfate-free paraben-free and silicone-free products to keep the curls properly hydrated and protected in order to maintain and recreate this bob. I’m only using goods from Deva Curl. Apply a cream when curls are damp (soaking wet not humid). I recommend sectioning to create an even application if you have thicker hair. I think it’s best to rake the cream over waves. I scrunch a gel into the hair after the cream application, followed by a microfibre towel to scrunch out the excess water. I used Deva Curl Supercream and Angel Gel from Deva Curl Arc for this bob. Then air dry or spray, but don’t disturb the beautiful curls until they’re 100% dry! Having fun with your hair until dry. Flip your head over and shake it out or scrape your way to beautiful big curls! The great thing about this curly layered bob is that each face shape and curl pattern is tailored to the style. You can’t get it wrong! If you don’t like length, I recommend that you don’t shake your hair at the end and apply it in a downward raking motion while applying the products to stretch your curls.

Candy Colored Jaw-Length Bob

What’s your favorite thing about this look? I call this bob Purpleriot candy flossing. A multitude of styles can be worn and always look great. That’s the perfect thing it’s fun with regardless of what you pair it with. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? I used items from Kevin Murphy to model this bob. Using Young. Again serum before blowing drying. This is a great product for heat control and leaves hair with a beautiful shine. Using Body. Builder mousse increases hair length. The curls were created using 1-inch curling iron hot tools (a great trade trick is to take different hair sizes that you curl). With Session. Spray, the hair is set and finished off with a pair of Shimmer Me Blonde sprays for a natural shine. Any customer could get that bob. The light pastels make it a theme that can be rocked by anyone. It’s cool, it’s ultra female. Trust is the key as with any hair trend!

Waterfall Layers Natural Curly Bob

What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? This bob haircut is ideal for those who have broken curl ends and need a new beginning in their curl life or anyone who wants an amazing curly bob. As shaping takes place, the roundness of the face should be taken into account. For example, the chin and crown symmetry should be considered as well as the jawline structure. The cut fits well for the maintenance of any lifestyle and is usually low maintenance. Every eight to nine weeks or so it may need to be checked, but that depends on how many outgrowths you like to accept. Within four weeks, some people need a re-shaping because their back line is out of shape. I offer free neck trims so that if you want to do so, you can go longer between cuts.

Curly Hair Enhanced Blond Bob

QA with> Nashville Style House Salon How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite thing about it? By making them voluminous and more defined, we enhanced these existing curls. The height I was able to get out of her hair while still looking gentle and manageable was my favorite thing about this bob. What products do you recommend for this look to be maintained and recreated? What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? Customers of established curls enjoy the natural and effortless appearance of their curls. Products definitely played an enormous role in creating this bob, but even a single curl cream with an upside-down diffuser could do the trick! This determines the curls by simply using a smaller iron to curl (after completely dry) while keeping the overall style smooth. This hairstyle will look great for a few days!

Lightened Up Graduated Bob and Curls

QA with> London Tusk Hairdressing Uk How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite? This look is a bob with a few long layers that is slightly graduated. Our client had some gray hair, so they didn’t want to dye their hair all over because it was going to be too much work. We lightened up some pieces mostly from below so as not to expose them as they grew up. Then we used the colors of Goldwell. These are shades that are anti-allergy and can be substituted without damaging the skin. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? This bob is perfect on curly hair of course. It’s a form of washing and going so no maintenance!

Wavy Bob with

QA with> Acappella Salon in Temecula Ca How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite? This look I’d describe as a wavy-layered bob. What products do you recommend for this look to be maintained and recreated? What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? It’s a very flexible style. This works well for thick, fine or rough, wavy and/or curly hair. Through changing the size, it is also appropriate for all face shapes. For the gal on the go or client trying to grow short haircuts for curly hair, it’s a great style.

A-Line Bob with Short Bangs

QA with Richmond Va’s Seven Hills Studio How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite? This is a twist on a short fringe layered A-line bob. I love the way we continued her fringe through her hairline’s sides, which opens her face and creates beautiful lines in a soft look. What products do you recommend for this look to be maintained and recreated? She’s got finer hair so we used all fashion bumble and bumble at her roots to hold off oil and maintain weight. We used Curl Mousse from Bumble and Bumble through the mids to help ends boost curl and keep the form. We ended up adding more skin and a little grit with the Bumble and Bumble Dryspun. For all curly s who want something simple and attractive, this bob haircut is great. The exaggerated framing parts of the fringe and head are particularly good for finer s as it provides the structure lost in finer skin.

Bob

One of the best things about this bob is that it can be worn by almost anyone. Because the layers frame the face, most face shapes can be flattered. The ability to put it in a ponytail is also a huge advantage of this haircut. Worse case scenario a few curls won’t stay in the front area but you can put it back into a few bobby pins or headband. Last but not least, with so many women wanting to wear their hair in their natural state, this style also looks professional and would most likely not draw employers ‘ attention. My client is a professional singer and she can wear her hair in this style with confidence without feeling as if her hair takes care of her voice.

Over 40

QA Sophisticated Bob with> Devachan Salon in Manhattan Ny How would you describe this bob and what’s your favorite thing about it? This curly style is sophisticated and glamorous. The curls are defined and formed beautifully because they have been properly hydrated and defined individually. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? It is necessary to select the right products according to your curl texture to build this bob. This look has been built for moisture and full curl strength with Devacurl Original Styling Cream. Using Devacurl Beautiful Mess, I separated them after the curls were clean for a more dazzling and voluminous feel. I rubbed the material between my hands and twisted it according to the coil pattern of each individual curl. We ended soft movement with Flexible Hairspray. For all curly gals who love their natural texture and are not afraid to show it off, this bob hairstyle is. It’s elegant and edgy.

Asymmetrical Bob Cut

What’s your favorite thing about this look? I’m going to describe this look like fun! The slightly asymmetrical form is my favorite thing because it adds a little more dimension. This hair is state-of – the-art fun and moves. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? To help detangle and smooth the curls, I recommend a great moisturizing conditioner. For assist with frizz, I also use an alcohol-free spray. My two favorite items for this look are the Devacurl Decadence Noo Poo and One Conditioner and the Devacurl Ultra Defining Gel. What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? For someone with a simple lifestyle, this hot bob is perfect. It’s a type of moisturizing wash and dry / diffuse air. With super curly hair, it’s such a great cut!

70s-Bob Shaggy inspired

This bob is great as it is so adjustable for most curly / wavy textures. For medium to thick textures it is best as the layering offers a nice alternative to the typical thick curls of heaviness. It’s a lovely look of wash and wear that’s perfect for the guest with low maintenance!

Softer Waves

What’s your favorite thing about this look? For the close wavy texture, this is a softer feel. I love the textures she’s got. With this size, the form will easily fall flat in a couple of months and become a triangle shape. But with these layers, without feeling too heavy at the edges, she will be able to grow her length longer. A thin front frame helped to achieve this form as well. To assist with the haircut’s longevity, we were able to create shorter layers around her head. We also used chunking shears for weight removal, but not for texture addition. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? We used the Decadence line of Devacurl (No Poo and One Condition) as her styling product along with Ag’s Recoil. This is a creamy gel that provides and holds moisture. She’s got very thick and dense hair so her texture wasn’t too heavy or too strong with a hold. For clients with a very dense and thick wavy texture who do not like to keep their haircut but every five months or so, I suggest this style. If the client has this wavy thick texture, I would advise them not to allow texturizing / thinning shears to be used by the stylist as this would produce more frizz for them. You can change the face frame’s shortness to match any customer’s face shape and lifestyle just ask the stylist.

Textured Ear-Length Bob

QA with Jade Atia Artistic Director @ Olive Eco Hair in Tarragindi Qld Style maker How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it? I’d describe the look as a natural textured classic bob. The design is my favorite thing about it. I love how it emphasizes her neckline and elongates her neck, but with her natural curl she still gives fullness and body. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? I will recommend styling products to Kevin Murphy because they are lightweight and are made up of beautiful essential oils. I used Motion. Lotion to increase the curl and give Hair. Resort spray description to offer a little texture and keep. To anyone with a tiny heart-shaped face, I would suggest this bob as it gives them more fullness and body. This bob haircut would suit anyone who wants a simple style of washing and wearing.

Thick Hair Airy Bob

My customer wanted a big shift in this particular case. She wanted something new and sassy to bring out more of her curls that wouldn’t be a huge commitment to styling. We decided on a length and design that would best suit her after a detailed consultation.

Classic Short Bob with Curls

What’s your favorite thing about this look? This is a curly classic bob. It is a contemporary perception of a low-maintenance textured style and easy-going. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? A combination of Davines This Is A Curly Building Serum with Davines This Is A Curl Moisturizing Mousse is recommended. Combine them with their Love Curl Series Shampoo and Conditioner and you have a light non-greasy non-crusty solution with minimal friction for natural soft waves. What kind of customer would you recommend this look for?

Youthful Bob for Older Women

QA with> North End Salon in Boulder Co Stylish youthful and sexy looking screams. She came in to see me over her shoulders with long (in a ponytail) one-long hair. I could tell after my consultation with her that she is a very fashionable young heart woman and that her look did not reflect her inner view of herself. I wanted to keep my face long as I love the long curls and the sexiness it reflects. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? I recommend a curl building cream as it keeps the curl (no frizz) together and keeps a soft curl as opposed to a crisp curl. To achieve this look, I used the Davines product line. What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? Anyone can wear this look but for someone with an incredibly round head, I wouldn’t suggest it. I got this look on medium to fine s (the texture of the template is medium / coarse) but would suggest that a customer have the thickness to keep the design together.

Dark Auburn A-Line Bob

QA with Jessica Earle Hairstylist / Colorist / Rental Booth @ Vero Salon in Oakland Ca

QA with> Uptown Curl in Minneapolis Mn This is a curly A-line bob. For all curly hair, I love this form because it generates volume and lifts at the crown while leaving length around the face where most curly girls fear their hair being cut too short). It’s also nice for active women who want to be able to tie their hair from their face but have a short length as well. It’s a fun yet sleek, easy-to-style shape. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? To establish this description, you need equal hydration of parts and keep. For DevaCurl Original No Poo and One Condition I cleaned and conditioned. I raked through a layer of DevaCurl B’Leave In curl plumping serum on dripping wet hair followed by an ArcAngel Gel layer and scrunched until it stopped dripping. You can either clip dry or spill at the root and air. I diffused more energy with a Dyson Supersonic dryer. What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? For every curl type, this style is great particularly for curly girls with straighter curls on the bottom and tighter curls on the top. It’s also great for women with an active lifestyle who want to skip a longer haircut maintenance. This form and shape can be customized to flatter several different types of faces. Soft Wavy Curly Bob

QA with> Luxe Salon in Denver Co How are you going to describe this look and what’s your favorite? What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? For her feel, I used shampoo / conditioner R+Co Atlantis to regulate moisture and frizz. Living in Denver requires a ton of moisture for our naturally curly girls to style well. I added Saryna Key 60/40 Mixed Shea Butter on slightly towel-dried hair for more moisture and finished her product application with a small amount of R+Co Motorcycle Gel for extra hold. Her curls were finished and tossed with a diffuser after drying air. What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? Personally, I would recommend this cut to any consumer who wants to be able to wear their natural curl texture and still have a fashionable style. It requires a bit of styling at home, but because of the natural curl texture of the client, this cut looks effortless. In no way did we curl her hair. This cut is just accentuated by the trim, 100% natural texture. As a stylist making my work as easy as possible. I love sending a customer home knowing she’s got the best style for her natural hair texture and she’s going to look pretty the way she’s! Asymmetrical Layered Curly Bob

Long Angled Bob or Lob

QA with fashion designer Ashleigh Kelley Hairstylist @ Dedham Ma Salon Capri How would you describe this look? This thin combination of haircut and color tells me the classic has existed in a simple way! The color is clear. I painted the scanning pieces free mainly around the face for brightness and to accentuate the cut. The cut is a great length for somebody to dip their toe into the water of the short hair and make thin hair look thicker! My favorite thing about this long bob or lob is the durability of it. There are so many different styling forms. When you go to the gym, it can still be pulled back into a cute ponytail. And throw your hair back for a formal occasion in an updo and half-up. With a headband for work or during the day, you can wear it smooth and straight and then it’s super easy to throw some beach waves in for a night look. The suggestions that someone feels about it? I suggest a blowdrying mousse to style this cut at home that will give your body and hold – I’m a big fan of Kerestase’s Mousse Bouffant. I also suggest a beach waves texture material and heat-protective. I love Kerastase’s Nectar Thermique and Shu Uemura’s Texture Pulse.

Look Thin Hair

How would you describe this look? This hairstyle incorporates a lot of different techniques to give a fuller look to the locks. The long layers highlight the root of the shadow and curl all distract the eyes from the hair. Instead, we see contrast and motion that is usually associated with long hair. All I love about this theme is the ease of wearing it! It is very customizable so you can change the length or color and still have the desired effect! The suggestions that someone feels about it? Because the root can be combined with your natural roots, this color is lower than most maintenance. But it’s important to get the most out of this style curls! Keune Salt Mousse and Salt Spray are my favorite items for curling.

Tousled Angled Bob

This is one of the best thin hair hair hair styles. The thin strands appear thicker instantly when they are cut into allled layers of light and blunt ends like this. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? I suggest a working spray such as Redken Fashion Work for a long-lasting voluminous fashion thermal safe such as Kenra Blow Dry Spray and a surface spray such as Igk Beach Club. If you want to rock the edgier feel, put some dry shampoo in and rough it up. What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? For any hair from thin to rough, I suggest this look. It’s a great look for someone to get ready in the morning who doesn’t have a lot of time. For someone who wears their hair for a long time, but always takes it off and lives a little!

Mid-Length Stacked Bob

QA with style maker Abbey DeJuliis Hairstylist @ Salon Pasca Wilmington I would characterize this look as a summer color with low maintenance and stacked bob haircut. The facial-framing balayage bits illuminate the whole look and provide a golden sun-kissed glow. What makes balayage more appealing than conventional foil highlights is that it does not involve regular touch-ups due to the root design. It refers to the slice as well. The choppy layered look provides more opportunities for women to work with their natural texture, perfectly combining with beachy skin. I love this look’s versatility and creativity and since no scanning is the same, it can be fully personalized for the style of the client and! What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? A prescription of nourishing items that are not heavy in nature is the key to maintaining this look especially for finer hair. I recently enjoyed the all-natural Italian brand Davines. With the shampoo and conditioner, it all begins. I like holding hair moisture without making it thick. Momo from Davines is the best shampoo / conditioner combo I’ve found for that. This combination keeps the locks out of the summer heat from getting too dry while maintaining volume. I managed frizz for styling and got smoothness with a couple of drops of Oi Oil. Where most oil-based serums can weigh thin hair Oi Oil has a base of Roucou Oil and offers control of frizz and dry time cuts without leaving the hair limp. I often combine this with a Davines brand from Volu Root Lift Spray. Volu Spray gives your hair the requisite root structure to produce voluminous bouncy results. What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? The choppy layers take the weight off the ends of the hair, which gives the root the chance to have some natural lift and a nice look of clean and go. Based on the preference of the client for ponytails, the length can be adjusted. The whole look can be tailored to any client. That’s what makes this style ideal for parents with finer / thinner hair on the go or even college students looking for lower cost of upkeep.

Pink

Short hair with Pink Pops How would you characterize this look and what is your favorite? This look is candy rose pops! The dimension you get with the blonde is my favorite thing about it, and then Bam … surprise. Some fun color in the middle! What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated? Sadly, it’s harder to maintain when you have fantasy color highlights in your hair. Please ask your stylist to make the color more vivid and use color-safe shampoo to slow it down! I always recommend Surface Hair shampoos. In all their products they have color lock vita complex and are 100% vegan! What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? This look is a modern look at the classic shag cut of layers tapering backwards. For extra texture, it was cut using a razor. My favorite part is the fringe of this haircut. It’s long enough not to be called bangs, but merely brushes the top of the cheekbones for a sexy feeling of living. What products do you recommend for this look to be maintained and recreated? I used the latest Sail product from R+Co for this look. It’s a salt spray, but in the formula it has a lightweight wax, ideal for thin hair that doesn’t need the usual salt spray grit. What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? This haircut is very flexible and it could be worn by any face shape. Young professionals will enjoy a haircut like this because for the office gym or a night out, it can be styled in many different ways. For women with thin to medium textured hair, I highly recommend this haircut. Rose Gold Colored Short Bob

QA with style creator Kristi Coleman Hairstylist / Colorist Floyd’s 99 Mosaic Barbershop in Fairfax Va How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite about it? What products do you recommend for this look to be maintained and recreated? I always recommend a texture powder or texture spray if you’re rocking the waves to add fullness to thin hair and help create the messy-on-purpose look. I also love hair oils (argan or moroccan) if you look smooth. For moisture and smoothness, I always add little to the mids and ends. What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? That form is quite flattering generally, but I particularly love it on the shapes of the round and oval head. To customize this look, you can always add a side bang or a bit of face-framing layers. I love this type of hair cut because you can spray some texture spray in some waves to shake it out and look like you’ve got twice as much hair!

A deep portion of the side forms a sharp jaw region while retaining a body lob. Stylist Kiersten kept so beautiful this shoulder-long haircut!

Straight Hair Praise

QA Style Creator Shelby Craft Hairstylist Salon 6 in Indianapolis In How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite thing about it? Via babylights, this medium-length hair was produced and then a shadow root from the scalp fell down about an inch to obscure the line. My favorite thing about this look is that you won’t see a sharp line of demarcation with conventional highlights when it begins to grow out. It’s subtle, you won’t sacrifice being light and it’s also a way to have a natural dimension. This look is great for thin hair, but with all textures, it can be very versatile. What items would you suggest for this look to be preserved and recreated?
