I feel that designing a look that both captures the vision of the client while complementing their features is crucial. That particular client wanted an overall ashy look, so I chose an ash base and a more natural gloss that would perfectly match her skin tone and really make her blue eyes pop! This elegant brunette has a very organic and detailed style that fits most skin tones. If you’re curious if you’d like this color and style, it’s always best to ask your stylist what’s best to match your features. It’s also important to set up a proper hair care routine that is personalized to your needs. A balanced canvas makes the best performance possible!
A with Manager This appearance is a natural look complementing the client’s skin color and face shape. She gave us a pretty hard brief when the client came to us. She came to us with hair that was nearly black, a much darker brown hue, and it was on the dry side. The easiest way to be noticeable is to have totally wild colors and an immense switch from the previous look, but this would not satisfy the ordinary requirement. We decided to bring down her color to a slightly lighter shade of natural oak brown and also did hair treatment in order to give her hair a nice healthy shine. Also the procedure brought out the brown color of the oak and lightened her entire face. It’s not over-the-top, our favorite thing about this theme. It’s subtly different and organic, and it suits the consumer most importantly. There are many various brown colors and different brown suit styles with different skin tones. You need to choose the right brown that suits your skin tone and improves it. It’s really fun to play with Browns. The hair needs to be healthy, so instead of dull bland or dry it will look brilliant. Hair care is very essential and has been neglected by many consumers. We agree that healthy hair, particularly for this kind of look, makes a huge difference with a hairstyle. Constant cleaning and care at home can help preserve the light.
Dark Coffee Brunette with Honey Caramel Balayage
Artist Make-up This is a dark coffee brunette with honey caramel scanning. How dimensional it is is what I love most about this look. The dark pieces and lighter pieces contrast with each other and complement each other. I just love how weak this look would be for someone who’s a brunette already. The roots are kept dark and the added colors are blended in so that the color will not expand out of a line. If you’re a brunette already, you can easily get lighter brown caramel pieces painted in. If your hair is lighter and you want to get darker at the roots and add depth, it depends on what type of upkeep you are willing to take on. Higher maintenance and usually more costly will be a permanent dark color over lighter hair. Many of my customers choose a semi-permanent color so that when it grows out, their dark fades only a little. That means they don’t have to get in as often and don’t invest as much as they do.This is a natural color of sunkissed balayage hair styled with allled loose curls. I love how easy and gentle the color of this hair turned out and the blend I could achieve! It looks very natural and beautiful. For a client who wants low-maintenance hair, this hair color is perfect. Balayage highlights never have a harsh line like conventional foils when they develop a dubious style in particular. It’s the perfect look for any busy woman who can’t do it every four to eight weeks at the salon. It’s also a great option for a brunette who wants to make their hair lighter without losing honesty. To achieve the look, only a few levels of lift are required. Last but not least, shaded hair styles and balayage hair color are now trendy. Throw in a braid, it’s the perfect look for a boho! Warm toasty balayage
This balayage is a beautiful warm tone with so many tones of skin. I love this color’s versatility! For an easier transition, you can make it darker and lighter to go with the seasons. You can also take it lighter or darker to help with the skin tone of each individual! This color and style are ideal for a product with low maintenance! A balayage’s low key look makes the outgrowth look natural and gives you a color with low maintenance that allows you as much or as little as you want to visit the salon.
Long Chestnut Brown
How are you going to describe this look and what is your favorite? This is a chestnut brunette and the different colors that show through the whole canvas are my favorite thing about it. To create and maintain this look, what items do you recommend? I used a volumizing mousse and left-in conditioner through the ends to blow off. I ran through a light Argan oil after curling to loosen the curl. She has our Color Lock sulfate-free shampoo to retain her color. The color is dimensional and shiny with low maintenance, which gives some texture to finer hair.
For anyone who wants to go darker but not heavy, I suggest this look. Without going too deep, color melted hair may feel really new. It would be better for this shade to have skin tones that are a little cooler than dry. For anyone who loves the lived-in feel, beach waves (with the right products) can be achieved on fine or coarse skin. This look suits the lifestyle of consumers who don’t wash their hair every day and can spray in a little dry shampoo / texture and will be good to go for a couple of days! This is an amazing color to get darker when you’re used to light hair.
A with Colorist How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite thing about it? This is an ombrated drop look that is incredibly effortless. My favorite thing about it is that from summer to fall it’s the ideal transition. Which items do you suggest that this look be created and maintained? For most of my clients, I suggest this look. I often recommend a few shades lighter than their natural color, so it gives a sunkish look to their skin. The best part about this look is that it’s really with any hair color for almost anyone. It’s beyond low maintenance (you just need to visit the salon at least twice a year) you can wear it all year round and it looks great with almost every hair style.
A with Hairdresser How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite thing about it? I’d characterize this look as a rich brown chocolate base with a balayage colored with chestnut. My favorite thing about this look is that it is lightened but still in the brown family and the color is colored off the root to keep the look as natural as possible. I consider using haircare items for color to preserve this color (I love the Color Extend range from Redken). I recommend using a heat protector before heat styling (I really like the Medium Control Thermal Holding Spray from Redken) to prevent the color from fading. To those who don’t want to be in the salon every four to six weeks, I suggest this look. It’s natural to look after not having the color touched up even after a year! This hot color matches well with olive skin tones, but works with almost every skin tone as well. This color was made on somebody with very fine and frizzy hair but would definitely fit any type of hair!
What products do you recommend that this look be created and maintained? I used Body. Builder wet before the blowout from the styling line of Kevin Murphy. Until curling each section vertically at the midshaft, I used Anti. Gravity. I also sprayed the hair gently with Shimmer / Shine in three sections and then brushed through my fingers and hands. She also takes home and uses wash and rinse from Kevin Murphy Hydrate. This look is ideal for someone who wants dimensions and low maintenance with a warm skin tone and dark hair (no lighter than a level 6). You can curl or just spray the haircut with Anti. Gravity and twist it into three buns while making it loose when you’re done.

Low Bun twisted
Easy Bun
I will call it a loose or ‘ undone ‘ twisted bun with Freelance Makeup Artist / Hairstylist. The biggest thing about it is that the twist shows off the different tones in the hair of the client and it looks more intricate than it is. It’s a great style when they want something off their face that is a bit more casual and trendy than some designs but still looks elegant and fascinating. This looks great with any hair color but one that has some highlights (blond) variance looks best as it shows off the twist in different tones. Always better with a length of at least past length of shoulder to around length of bra strap. If it’s too short, the bun doesn’t have enough hair. If it’s too thick, the layers don’t tend to give it texture and the bun gets too heavy and too large. This furthers the relaxed vibe by taking bits out around the front of the head.
Twisted Bun
This look is simple but elegant and perfect for your wedding hair dream. Using a rope braid technique creates the illusion that your hair is thick and full. The most classic thing about this look is how plain it is, but how complicated it looks. It is very easy to achieve from the point of view of a stylist. The use of minimal Bobby pins promotes the technique of styling. This look is produced quickly and easily in a few simple steps. When using the right products, it is ideal for all the different hair texture.

It’s been all the rage in her heyday and we’re seeing a donut bun revival now. This time around though it takes a simpler and more casual approach and less polished and very done up. If you want to give a go back to the ol’ donut, we suggest following this tutorial on the blog of Confetti Day Dreams. It’s super airy, almost taking on a look of cotton candy, and finishing with wispy hair wrapped around the bun’s middle.
Romantic Layered Bun Sweet and simple, this elegant bun. When it comes to hair, my attempts at anything more than a ponytail or top knot can leave me feeling irritated and ridiculous, writes Anne of the blog of Anne Sage. But since intricate braids and buns became popular, I decided to go beyond the basics. So I asked Heidi Marie Garrett of 1011 Makeup to help me build a tutorial for this simple but beautiful updo. This romantic layered bun has a floral quality that makes me want to read books in a lush, twisted ivy secret garden.
Messy Bun Braid and Wrap Hairstyle
Waterfall French Braid Bun
This French braid hairstyle is so rich that it hurts my teeth (in a good way). To achieve this bun’s super shiny and polished finish, you’ll want your hair to be prepared by brushing it out and applying some hair serum to keep frizzies away. Old hair works best for this chic bun hairstyle, as the braid will hold better, according to the tutorial day. 151.1128.jpg />
