How are you going to describe this look? I call it a curly chic theme! I think it’s an updo for natural curls specifically. I often use Living Proof Prime Style Extender for such a style and on all natural curls it works incredibly well. Make-up is done by Elisa Tallerico (Any tips for someone who worries about it? If you don’t have these natural curls like Amy Miyako (

QA with Professional Artist Co-owner How would you characterize this look? This is a textured updo. It happens to be one of my favorite formal types!

Hairstylist Instagram QA How would this look be described? This look is ideal for curly or wavy hair of course. For this season, it’s textured bouncy and very on-trend. The suggestions that someone feels about it? The most important advice is to use the right products for your type of hair. I developed this style using serum sprays to calm curls as well as using a little heat from a curling tong to smooth the curls ends. Don’t feel like you’ve got to have a lot of hair length to make this look. The size of your shoulder is all you need! Even if your hair is only slightly wavy, for more of a structured curl, you can create a smoother curl with hair tongs or a wand to tame the locks. Again with your own natural curls this look works beautifully.

Braided Side Upstyle Instagram QA with Hairstylist How would you describe this look? With naturally curly hair, this is a gentle and romantic braided side upstyle. My favorite thing is how simple and complex it looks at the same time. The suggestions that someone feels about it? Use a curl-enhancing product to prepare wet hair and let the curls air dry. Go back and improve the dry curls, particularly around the face-framing parts, with a 1-inch wand. This is a fast and easy style that requires minimal planning!

I’d describe this look as a textured chignon without any effort. My favorite thing about it is how it reveals her classic curls in a conservative style, but with the messier texture on top it also accentuates editorial flair. In an elegant style, it is almost a deconstructed twist. The suggestions that someone feels about it? This style was done on very fine curls, and this look would be perfect for the construction of this light fluffy texture. My model didn’t have a lot of hair! So if your curls aren’t as thick and you’re looking for an upstyle, it’s a great look for you. With an effortless feel, I would describe this look as soft and romantic. The presentation is granted a whole new dimension by inserting flower clips or fresh flowers. The suggestions that someone feels about it? To achieve this look, you need to have a bit of length in your hair or use clip-in extensions to give it the necessary length and completeness. I also used some padding below to give a thicker hair illusion. This also makes the bobby pins easier to tie in. To achieve this look, straight hair would have to be tonged. Curly hair will fit well, of course!

Stylist Instagram QA How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite? I’d describe it as a curl of the waterfall. It looks clean and romantic between a curl and a wave. It’s very eclectic, my favorite thing about this theme. It can be worn casually or as a formal style for the night out. Start with a good foundation. I recommend that you shampoo the guest with a dry round brush blow. Apply a liquid for strength and fizz before blowing off. I used Rene Furterer Volumea for this look to amplify the skin. I used Rene Furterer Lissea from mid strands to ends to smooth the hair and tame the frizz. Please apply towel dried hair products and always brush them through the hair for even distribution before blowing dry. Once you’re able to wave the hair section to monitor and spray each part you’re going to wave with a thermal protector and some hairspray. Take small enough parts for five seconds and release around a 1-inch iron block. When that wave is fading, just take it apart and move on to the next one. Always wave hair away from the face for this look and in the same direction. What kind of customer do you suggest this look for? I prefer this look to hair clients with a collarbone or longer at least. It’s a very dynamic look, as I said before, and suits all the shapes of the eyes. This would be a great look if your client has fine hair because it adds texture and fullness. It gave her a sleek classic and tamed texture for those like my curly / frizzy hair template.

This curled look will add to any prom dress and make a glamorous makeup stand out. This style is a classic timeless that never gets old! The

Start with the desired side of dry hair. 3. Use a 1 inch curling iron to curl each part. Once you release the hair from the curling iron, try not to let the curling iron drop, but instead remove the curling iron and keep the hair curled in a pin curl, or if the curl drops a little, simply wind it around your finger to make a pin curl. 4. Tap the curl of the pin on your head to load. A bobby pin or a pin curl clip can do this. 5. Upon curling all your hair and pinning each part in a pin curl helps you to remain like that for the desired amount of time. It’s perfect for anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. 6. Remove the curl of each pin and gently twist it around your finger to form the curl again. 7. Spray with a medium holding spray on everything.

How to 1. Start with dry hair smoothed with a round comb. 2. Strong hair leaving one segment behind to start putting in hot rollers. 2. Begin by wrapping a larger hair section (approx. 2 inches) around a hot roller of medium to large length. Clip the roller and sit down. Continue until hot rollers include all hair. Recommended Products: A good thickening spray right after your hair has been washed is crucial for getting a big, voluminous look. I love the Thickening Spray of Bumble and Bumble. Best Face Shape and Hair Type: This style is great for people who don’t have too much natural wave or curl with medium to thick hair. Because it adds weight and makes the hair look fuller it is going to work well for anyone with a narrow or elongated head.

This chestnut brown hair color with the highlights of the honey blonde can dazzle anyone in sight at the prom.

QA with Hair Colorist / Salon Owner This look provides some contrast below that sexy blonde color. It’s an edge you should cover. Without the light, think of peekaboo. My favorite is the blonde undercut hairstyle because every few weeks you get to pick a new design! Any suggestions that someone feels about it? When contemplating an undercut, I always like to be honest and let women know that indeed, even though it is evil, it takes care. Think about how fast your hair grows and the fact that every couple of weeks you’ll have to touch it. But that also makes it more fun as it opens the doors for design experiments! It’s a way with your hair to be adventurous without having to go out with your color. I always remind everyone that it’s exactly the cycle that grows out once you decide that you’re finished with this look. A well-worth-it one. How would you characterize this look?

Cool Shaved Undercut

QA with Stylist / Owner I’d call that a rock chick bob look. It’s really very traditional one-length A-line haircut but I love the way it’s undercut and trendy color makes it more sleek and edgy together. I wanted to create turquoise roots that would effortlessly blend into bright neon green and yellow lengths to give you lots of measurements in various styling ways. The suggestions that someone feels about it? Second is the shape of your face as it will be for what length of hair should be cheekbone or jawline length matches oval heart and round shapes as it strengthens them. Gives the impression of a longer face shape under the jawline or even the length of the collarbone. QA How would you characterize this look? Watching Black Panther, I was inspired by this look! Ideas for undercut hairstyle also come from movies. One of Shuri’s main characters had something like that on the back of her head, but throughout the entire film, you could only see it for a few seconds. The fact that she reminded me of the strong smart and bold character was what inspired me to do this on my client. The suggestions that someone feels about it? Definitely understand that the grow-out process is not all that fun for the person thinking about doing an undercut. You’re definitely going to go through an awkward stage as it grows out but you’re just living once! A bit of an estimation you can make for yourself is that the average person grows about 6 inches of hair a year. Because designs grow out in about two weeks and hair usually needs to be maintained within a month, it can be slightly high maintenance.QA with Independent Stylist How are you going to describe this look? All this look is delicately edgy. Each detail was carefully chosen from the braid to the texture to the undercut to give my customer the option of a soft look or a sassy rebellious look. I loved all this thing. The hue was a 5-hour rainbow-to-copper conversion. We gave her a cut with a lot of texture after the color and freshened her undercut. I wanted her to see that having a natural shade could still be as fun as her bright rainbow hair so I sprayed her hair with dry wax and added a small Dutch braid on top of her undercut. Any advice that someone thinks about it? I enjoy using the It’s A 10 Miracle Styling Serum and Amika the anti-humidity spray shield and then flat iron to a smooth finish while styling for a sleek look. I love the Kenra air grip spray while styling for an edgy look. First I spray flat iron and then I use my fingers to position every piece the way I want it.

QA for Little Girls How would you describe this look? With this noisy color pop applied to it, the look is different and unique to me. The blue and the undercut made it stand out, completing the bold yet low-maintenance look we were trying to achieve. In the past, I’ve always kept it simple and simple with undercut designs. I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone this time and create a design I’d never consider. I went to the zebra print as it wasn’t just about adding lines to the overall look, the smoother flowing shapes that were shaved out are just as relevant as the hair I left on. Looking at it, you’re immediately drawn to the undercut’s design and flow. Any advice that someone thinks about it? Short Hair Undercut

This is a pixie cut that can be transformed. A soft and edgy look is provided by the different lengths and textures throughout the hair. This cut is for someone who enjoys playing with their hair. The best thing about this cut is that it helps you to create different looks without bringing in your morning routine all the extra hours of styling. It can be difficult when it comes to the color and quite the maintenance, but it all depends on the foundation with which you begin. The suggestions that someone feels about it? This cut and color works best on natural level 5 and up with medium texture skin. My go-to is Kevin. Murphy styling tools for making the most functional designs. While the hair is wet, I like to prepare it for some hold and memory with KM hair.resort. Usually blow drying with my fingertips and, if possible, smooth a few bits with a comb. Do not believe the myth that it will be simpler if you go short life. It’s not going to be a good hair day every day! You can wake up for a few days and your hair will look in place and you will need to put in the extra effort to make it look good. When styled, pixie cuts can look more trendy, or even more edgy. For this client, with a large round comb, I blowed her hair upwards to give her more volume and slightly textured waves at her ends and finished with an elastic texturizer and spray finish.

Messy Undercut

What’s the look like? This look is a very soft feminine undercut, all at the same time holding toughness and elegance. Messy hairstyle undercut ideas usually begin with hair messing up. The fact that you can wear it any way you like is my favorite thing about it. It’s a flexible style that lets you cover the undercut whenever you want and change the sides for flatness or width. It’s a style you don’t have to blow dry because the way it’s cut makes life get a little hectic on those days. The suggestions that someone feels about it? To people with really thick hair, this haircut is perfect as the undercut removes half of the hair. It is ideal for oval or round face shapes as the short sides will slim the head and the length on top will add lengthening size. Hair style would be curly or straight anywhere, and if it is curly due to it springing too short, I would suggest wearing the top longer. Holding it on top for longer will let you tie it up to get it out of your face if you’re in a gym or just want to experience that little top knot.
