Lovely Bangs Lob

QA with Certified Hair Artist / Owner How would you describe this look? This haircut and color is a great example of the hair trend that is still so popular. I was going for this client to feel like a surfer girl. Bob’s hairstyles go hand in hand with bangs. The cut was done with a razor that obviously helps to promote the slight wave of her hair. I wanted it to be done with a carefree look and lots of texture so I’ve been working for many layers. My target was as sun-kissed as possible for her color so I focused the scanning around her face and in the crown.
Adorable Lob with Fringe

QA with Stylist. The style is a medium-length bob with bangs that is slightly pointed. With a round comb, I blow dried the hair to make the hair loose waves. I did a golden blonde scanning with a base break for the light. This look was a drastic change from the hue of her natural dark brunette. Seeing the customer with a completely different look was fantastic! The long layered bob is perfect for people with medium as well as fine hair as it makes the hair look fuller and appropriate for both straight and wavy hair. This look can also be achieved by people with curly hair if they can spend a little more time in styling. How to style: Apply Laicale Smoother No Frizz Cream to wet or damp skin. Use a small round brush to create waves that guide the hair off the head. Use your hands when done to smooth the curls gently. Once the dry blow has been completed, spray some Rockaway Sea Salt spray from R+Co to create separation.

Stylist A-Line Lob with Balayage

QA How would you describe this look? This is an elongated textured A-line lob with a balayage of dimensions. This look is perfect for summer with beach waves! Adding color to your bob hairstyles will definitely give you the extra detail that catches your eye. The flexibility that the cut and color offer her is what I love most about this look. To give such an effortless feel, it can be worn straight or with any kind of curl! What would you describe this look like? This is a long-lived bob with blunt edges and internal channeling that provides structure and movement. I love this look because on pretty much anyone it’s flattering and giving them a nice update on the trend. The suggestions that someone feels about it? Make sure to consider the length you want, so if you want to wear your hair in a messy bun, it’s long enough. Hold it a little past the shoulder curve and if you decide to grow it out, you don’t have to go through the awkward phase! Gorgeous Layered Lob With Blonde Highlights

QA with Aveda Stylist

How would you describe this look? The color chosen for this particular guest beautifully complimented her skin tone. We went with a cooler blonde highlight, leaving enough natural root between foils to give her the right size. I appreciate the variety. There’s no wrong way to wear this look from the number of layers you add (short or long) to wear it straight curly or waved to your favorite color of hair! The advice that someone thinks about it? Products needed for this look are definitely a heat-protective, especially if any styling with a hot iron is going to happen. If you go with the feel of the beachy-wave, use a wand or curling iron to accomplish it. You could use a textured spray such as a sea salt spray if you want more of a messier yet classy feel. Use a styling cream to help define and smooth the curls and top it off with your favorite hairspray to help keep the look. For medium to thick skin, this haircut works best. Thin fine hair may wear this look as well, but be sure that the stylist doesn’t offer too little or too many layers so that there are no coarse ends. The long layered bob haircut can work with any shape of the face as it is a cut of medium length. It is a feel of low maintenance. When styling your hair, you don’t have to be a pro to wear this cut versus a short stacked bob / a-line or a pixie that requires a lot of styling. However, the color we have chosen for this guest is a little more maintenance with the products you need to use to keep your hair between appointments fresh and healthy. To keep the toner long-lasting a color-safe shampoo and heat-protective conditioner, you will need purple shampoo and an oil to keep your hair moisturized and prevent it from becoming dry and brittle. Usmooth blowdryer Usmooth curling iron (leaving ends out to give the beachy-wave look) Aveda Brilliant Universal Styling Cream Aveda Air Control lightweight hairspray and Aveda Control Force are holding hairspray. How would you characterize this look? It’s a layered mid-length lob with an effortless feel with motion. I still take into account the growth patterns and hairline of the head shape. I wanted to create a natural movement and a style at home that she could replicate. Using my fingers or a paddle comb, I wipe out 95% of the moisture. Then I use a round brush of medium size. In addition to a volumizing device, I recommend a thermal protection product. More is more than that.
