1. Users couldn’t complete the iOS 9 setup According to Apple’s support page on the iOS 9.0.1 update solves an issue where some users might not complete the setup assistant after downloading and installing iOS 9. Of all the bugs that plagued iOS 9 and that iOS 9.0.1 patched this one is the largest. It stopped the updating of their iPads and iPod Touch apps by many users. When iOS 9 downloaded the bug would cause the device to freeze after asking the user to update to Slide. “Amit Chowdhry reports for Forbes that Apple recommended a forced restart for users affected by the bug, and then recover the device from iTunes. Users need to either restore the device from a backup or make a system backup and then restore it from that backup via iTunes. But the “Slide to Update” screen still appeared for some users even after those measures were completed. Apple suggested another hard reset for them then a restore system and reset a factory as an alternative. After launching iOS 9.0.1 Apple updated its support page to advise users to complete a hard reset to connect their devices to iTunes and choose the “update” option for those struggling with the Slide to Upgrade problem. On completion of the restore, they will complete the onscreen steps to finish the system setup. 2.

Timers and alarms that fail to play with alarms and timers recorded by some users, and iOS 9.0.1 will fix these problems. (No more worrying if you can rely on your newly updated iPhone to wake you up consistently in time for work or tell you when that casserole needs to come out of your oven.)

3. Stopping videos in Safari or Photos could distort frames

Several users who updated their devices to iOS 9 reported that they found distorted frames in their videos while pausing videos either in Apple’s mobile browser Safari or in the Photos app. IOS 9.0.1 will remedy this irritation, and stop distorting frames. More from Gear Style Cheat Sheet:
