Susan Lucci says she’s open to a reboot of All My Children

She wasn’t pleased about the cancelation of All My Children and says she thinks there’s a chance to revive the series. There’s some talk about how to do it, “she said to Yahoo recently!” We’ll see. I say we don’t know anyway. The show revived briefly in 2013 and was aired on The Online Network but Lucci was not involved in the project.
Why the time might be right for a soap opera revival
While somebody asked about the possibility of reviving the cancelled daytime dramas at a Television Critics Association event in February. There might be a dialog about that. According to a source from Soap Opera Network, there could be Burke saying. Burke also added that she is a fan of the General Hospital’s remaining soap. General Hospital is going strong and I hope the show will continue long after I no longer have this job. She said, I’m a fan. Soap Opera Network also pointed out that a return to soaps could follow should ABC plan to cancel Strahan Sara and shake up its daytime lineup. The site also noted that Disney (which is ABC’s parent company) owns 60 percent of Hulu, suggesting the likelihood of a streaming overhaul.
