The lovely pair walked down the aisle in Germany in 1992. In Europe their wedding ceremony looked more like a romantic gateway. Only family and loved ones who were close friends attended their big day. The duo hasn’t revealed much about their auspicious day apart from those specifics. The pair returned to the states after their romantic honeymoon, to live in their new house. The couple bought a $163,000 home in Houston where the duo lived. They’re parents to two children
Michael and Wanda managed to raise their children successfully. Their eldest daughter, Tanita Strahan, now has a job in her life and is well settled. In 1992, just a year after their marriage, Hutchins gave birth to the pair’s first child, Tanita. The couple had welcomed their second child Michael Strahan Jr in May 1995 before their divorce. The lovely couple ended up in divorce, after which their kids were embroiled in a custody battle.
Strahan and Hutchins kicked a decision on their children’s living status at the courthouse gates. The court judge bestowed full custody upon Michael. But due to Strahan’s absence from the life of his children the children began to live with their mother. According to Wanda Michael’s mother Renate Hutchins, she is absent from children’s lives. She added that the kids never knew a father. He knows not what he lacks. They are truly good ones. Michael is missing his brother. When he thinks nobody is watching, I see him taking pictures from his drawer looking at them. Nevertheless, Wanda disapproved of the statement made by her mother and said that Strahan was a perfect father. Michael had expressed his side of the story in an interview with People magazine. The children were very close to his hearts according to him. He wanted both of his children from the second marriage to mix and integrate with his other two children.
