To make up for these absences, the Riojan coach has cited for the first time promising players who are already having minutes at the highest level such as Nico González (Barcelona), Miguel Gutiérrez (Real Madrid) or Nico Williams (Athletic), who could debut at the stadium Andalusian.
For its part, Slovakia began this qualifying phase beating Lithuania (3-1), but conceded its first defeat in the visit to Northern Ireland (1-0), precisely the next rival of the team led by Luis de la Fuente.
