La Rojita, for more joys against Slovakia

The Spanish Under-21 team will resume today the qualifying phase for the European of the 2023 category at the Sevillian stadium of La Cartuja (8:45 pm), where it will face the Slovakian team.

La Rojita has started the road to the European event flawlessly, winning its first two games, against Russia (4-1) and Lithuania (0-2), something that allows it to be the solo leader of Group C as it is the the only one that has managed to tie up the six points put into play to date. Spain will have to endorse its excellent track record and get a slice of the two games it will play at La Cartuja, as on Tuesday it will have to face Northern Ireland, also at the Sevillian stadium.

The coach Luis de la Fuente has introduced in his call a total of ten new features regarding the team that added the aforementioned triumphs, some forced as a replacement for Yéremy Pino or Bryan Gil, recruited by Luis Enrique Martínez for the duels of the absolute in the Nations League. To make up for these absences, the Riojan coach has cited for the first time promising players who are already having minutes at the highest level such as Nico González (Barcelona), Miguel Gutiérrez (Real Madrid) or Nico Williams (Athletic), who could debut at the stadium Andalusian.

For its part, Slovakia began this qualifying phase beating Lithuania (3-1), but conceded its first defeat in the visit to Northern Ireland (1-0), precisely the next rival of the team led by Luis de la Fuente.
