If you have a forgotten Telcel chip that you want to use again, follow the steps below and recover it quickly.

Through the website:

1. Insert your chip into your phone and turn it on.
2. Go to the website www.us.telcel.com and click on the activate option.
3. Complete all the information they ask for in the activation form.
4. After doing all these steps, wait at least an hour and check that your line is activated.

Through text messaging:

1. Send an SMS to the number 4848 with the word “high”, plus the name, the first and second surname, and the date of birth. Example: ALTA.PABLO.USECHE.MERCHAN.31 / 05/1966. You can also write the word ALTA followed by the 18 characters of the CURP.
2. Once you have sent the message, you can recharge your balance on the line.

Through a phone call:

1. Insert the SIM or chip card into the phone and turn it on.
2. Call Telcel’s telephone service (1-800-220-9518) from another line and follow the operator’s instructions.
