Steps to follow:

Turn on the computer and, as fast as you see text on the screen, press the ‘DEL’ and ‘DEL’ keys at the same time to enter BIOS. In many other cases, it can also be accessed by pressing F1, F2, or F10.

Look in the new menu for the option ‘Boot Order’ or something similar like ‘Advance BIOS Features’, it could be found in ‘Advanced Options’; note that every computer is different. Consult your equipment manual if you have the slightest doubt.

Select the ‘First Boot Device’ tab and choose the CD / DVD option for your computer to log in from Windows 7 CD. Make sure the following options are met: ‘Second Boot Device: Floopy’ and ‘Third Boot Device: HDD-0’.

Save the changes by pressing ‘F10’, this way you will keep the configuration you have established. Press ‘Esc’ to leave the menu. Remember to press ‘Y’ (yes / yes) when the team asks if you really want to save the changes.

After the computer restarts, insert the Windows 7 installation CD and wait for the computer to recognize it.

Press any key to start the computer from the CD / DVD.

Fill in the blank form by communicating to Windows what language you want to install, as well as your keyboard method and time / currency format. Then press ‘Continue’.

Select ‘Install’ and accept the license agreement for Microsoft Windows if you agree to its terms.

Among the two options that they offer you, select the first ‘Upgrade’ (upgrade); in this way, the computer will perform the most up-to-date installation of Windows 7 and you won’t lose any of your data.
