The truth is that there are very simple, fast and inexpensive ways to clean the oven. Steps to follow:

Take a bowl like for cereals and fill it with water. Mix with two large tablespoons of baking soda. You will see that the powder will dissolve quickly and you will have a paste. That is its ideal form. What we want to achieve with this mix is create a kind of “exfoliating paste” for the baking soda granules to scrape dirt out of the oven and sanitize it.
When you have the mixture ready, get a scratching sponge and a damp microfiber cloth. These oven cleaning techniques will work for both electric and gas ovens.

To clean the oven with baking soda inside, and remove all trays and grates from inside and put them in the sink. You can use the same mixture of baking soda and water to scrub them. To do this, spread the oven racks and trays with the baking soda paste and let it act for about 15 minutes.
When this time has passed, use a scouring pad to scrub the pieces thoroughly. The baking soda will descale the dirt and give the metal a shine, but you can increase the degreasing effect with a little dish soap.
Then rinse the pieces well so that there are no remains.

Take the baking soda and water mixture and spread the inside of the oven completely. Be careful that it is well covered. If necessary, add more mixture until the entire surface is smeared. You will see that the bicarbonate changes color; that is because absorbs dirt from the oven and therefore is a very good sign. Let it act for several hours.
The ideal is leave it all night and continue cleaning the next day, but it is not necessary, a couple of hours will be enough to restore the shine of the oven.

After a few hours, retrieve the sponge with a scourer and the damp cloth. For clean the oven with baking soda and heat, we will use a little trick: soak the sponge in hot water and pass it inside the oven, scratching on the baking soda to remove any remaining dirt. This way it will come out more easily.
Rinse the sponge and repeat the operation several times to make sure that nothing is embedded in the oven. You will see that the dirt, softened by the baking soda paste, comes off quickly without rubbing too hard.

A very effective technique is clean the oven with baking soda and vinegar. To take advantage of the properties of this product when cleaning your oven, dampen the microfiber cloth in a vinegar and water mixture and pass it through the oven to remove the remains of bicarbonate. You will see that the baking soda reacts and foams, but it is normal. Use a ratio of 1/2 cup of white vinegar for 2 cups of water.
Vinegar is another great disinfectant and it also adds shine, so together with the bicarbonate it will enhance the cleaning effect of this entire operation and will leave the oven flawless. Rinse the cloth with water and run it through the oven again to give it the final touch and make sure there is no vinegar or anything left inside.
Place the clean trays in the oven and take advantage of the vinegar mixture to give it a look around the door and the outside. Then rinse the cloth with water and remove the vinegar again. Then, remove the baking soda mixture with the vinegar and then wipe with a damp cloth to remove the remains of this new mixture.
If you don’t have white vinegar at home, you can clean the oven with baking soda and lemon. Replace vinegar with lemon juice and take advantage of its qualities as an ecological disinfectant, cleaner and bleach.

Now we just need to know how to clean the oven panes. In this case, you don’t have to look for other different products, since bicarbonate and vinegar will be perfect for this task.
Apply the baking soda and water paste on the glass, covering the entire oven window. Let the mixture rest for 30 minutes on the glass and remove it with a cloth soaked in water. Dry with another cloth to remove any traces of moisture and so that the glass is not stained.
If you want, you can also add a 1/2 cup of white vinegar to the baking soda paste to enhance its cleaning effect for stains.
