Elizabeth perkins was born in 1960 in Queens, New York; United States.
Daughter of Jo williams, concert pianist and de James Perkins, a pharmacist and businessman.
Elizabeth She was raised in Vermont and her parents divorced in 1963.
After finishing school in Northfield Mount Hermon, spent three years in Chicago studying acting at the famous Goodman School of Drama.

In her personal life, Elizabeth married the actor Kinney Ferry in 1984 and they both had a daughter, Ana, but then they divorced in 1992.
During 2000, she married the Argentine filmmaker Julio Macat, together with whom he inherited three adopted children: Maximilian, Alexander Y Andrea.
