Star Wars is basically about the combat within the world between the Light Side and the Dark Side. And on the series, the weight Revenge of the Sith had is very big. It shows the last bits of seduction Palpatine uses to transform Anakin absolutely, and how the mistrust of Anakin in the Jedi was already so far along that he fell. Obi-Wan Kenobi’s final battle with Anakin is the scene that establishes who we now know as Darth Vader. Since they studied so closely and Obi-Wan taught Anakin everything he knew they were fairly well matched. Both periods are when their skills create an impasse. But Obi-Wan is more worldly and a smarter fighter which causes his victory and the famous high ground line. But in another cut of the movie the moment Anakin’s legs are cut off and he’s lying in the dirt looked quite different.
