Meet Nadia, an emotionally intelligent ‘human’ chatbot will support over 500,000 disabled people in AustraliaHumanizing the interface between Man And Soul Machines, a New Zealand-based startup has successfully developed a Virtual chatbot called ‘Naida’ which not only portrays human emotions but also reads their facial expressions. The main aim behind this creation is to take the chatbot service to a new level by humanizing the human-machine interaction. Soul computer has dubbed Nadia’s ability to interpret the expression of the human face as its ’emotional intelligence or Ei.’ Naida can observe users ‘ facial expressions through webcams. This chatbot interacts with users, emotionally. Through his experience both Ai and Ei will understand. When users alter their facial expression when talking to Nadia, they will modify and adapt their response instantly to suit the current emotional state of mind of the user. Mark Sugar a professor at Auckland University and Ceo of Soul Machines is the Nadia concept’s main pillar. He has already received several academic awards for catching techniques on facial expressions for Avatars and King Kong.

Among iOs users, the standalone Google Newsstand is now being dropped, making it part of the new and updated Google News software. For their latest Ai ventures Google seems to take the media by storm. The new Ai-powered Google News software, launched at the Google I / O conference last week, is now available for iOs. The new app focuses on machine learning and news curation algorithms for consumers. Google is focusing heavily on machine learning and artificial intelligence, and the findings of work by the tech giant are finally showing up. The new Google News app has a ton of new functionality and the app’s revamped algorithm makes it easier for users to access information that is more important. The tailored “For You” segment gets better over time as the app learns what individual users ‘ interests are when it comes to viewing news content. There are also paid subscription options available for the app that allow users to directly access paid content from popular news outlets through Google’s app. The company has worked with media organizations around the globe to acquire exclusive content. Finally, it’s interesting to note that Google’s move comes right after Apple turned its attention on the Apple News app forming partnerships with Buzzfeed’s exclusive content.
