Classic French Bob with Bangs

You wouldn’t mistake this for another haircut with layered layers of soft waves and classic blunt bangs. Way to show in a trendy inverted bob texture and style that gives an instant youthful look. The Messy French Bob

It’s fantastic instantly! My favorite part about this style is that it takes little to no styling and is appropriate for most people. This helps the hair to flow naturally without having to style it very much when properly textured. I recommend applying a small amount of curling cream while the hair is damp and allowing it to dry or dry air with a diffuser for a finer wave or curl. My favorite cream from Davines is Love Curl Cream. Although usually done on wavy to curly hair, this cut takes on a soberer look with the slightest wave, but just as flattering on the body. In addition to regular bang trims, the French bob is a great low maintenance style for anyone who needs more time to enjoy a little extra life!

The Long French Bob

A with Sunlights Balayage Artisan Educator The French bob is the timeless and trendiest haircut. It’s a classic look that will never make you look back at pictures and cringe, but it’s so versatile that you can style it to look curly and romantic, sleek and smooth textured and edgy. Do whatever you like and you’re always going to be on the trend! I love this style, no matter what type of hair they have, everybody can wear it. To make it look smoother or on dense coarse hair, this is perfect for super fine thin hair and make it look less bulky. It is the highlight of the best. If you’re considering a French bob, you should spend some time looking at pictures and finding one that suits your hair and how you want it to look. You’re going to want to find a photograph of someone with the same hair type as yours, whether that’s thick, curly curly straight you’re calling it. If you’re unsure what type of hair you’ve found just a few pictures that represent different types of hair but make sure the picture bob is the exact length you want. You’re modifying the cut by saying I like this but perhaps an inch longer and it won’t look like the picture. One inch for a bob is a big difference. By changing the length of the bob even one inch, the difference between the length of the shoulder or above the shoulder or the difference between the length of the chin or the length of the cheek could be the difference. Bobs are precision cuts and adjusting the length will change the cut’s look so bear in mind (especially when going shorter) that if you want the look you need to commit to the length. Always note that a true bob is too short for a ponytail, so you may need to style it depending on the natural texture of your hair and your desired look. Luckily even if you’ve got a ton of hair a bob doesn’t take a long time to style. A little trick I like to teach my guests is to take a section by placing your fingers on your temples and moving them straight back to the back of your head until your fingers meet and spend most of your styling time working on that top section. You don’t have to spend a lot of time on anything that falls below it because the hair in that top section should cover it anyway!

A with Licensed Cosmetologist I developed this haircut with the razor so we can create a lot of internal motion and look really sleek and stylish. It can also be edgy and fun when you use the right products! It will open the eyes and extend the neck that might be a really sexy look. I just think it’s a very flexible haircut depending on the materials used. It can be worn on a customer in the business or on an artistic and edgy customer. The products change the whole cut aesthetic because it was cut with the razor. In this pic, I styled it with a sleek and straight Arrojo flat brush to highlight the outline with a little Arrojo luxury oil. I could have found it colorful, too, and enhanced its texture. I would have used the Arrojo Glint texture spray to enhance the textured line, adding texture and shine, and some Arrojo texture paste to the bang.

The Layered Bob

A with Haircutting Enthusiast I think it’s very funny with its underlying sexiness. I love the length showing off the shoulders and the curtain bangs carry the ears and cheekbones to the fore. The ease of styling is my favorite thing about it. You don’t have to deal with the dreaded flip of the mid-length with it sitting right off the shoulders. It will look good regardless of whether you wear it straight curled or air-dried. You can put it in a messy half-bun on lazy days and still look super cute. For most hair textures, this cut is suitable. I did it on a wide range of hair texture and density, but I’m different in styling. I would suggest blow-drying with a round brush before curling if you have long and straight hair to get the most quality out of it. If your hair has a nice wave, I like to spray with a sea salt spray (or you can air-dry) and then touch up a few waves with a flat iron or curling iron here and there. For curly hair, I always start for volume at the roots with a curl cream and sea salt spray and then diffuse! I always use a texturizing spray to finish any style. I like Ag Tousled Textured or Evo She-Bang-a-Bang spray. Fit for Curly Hair

One of my favorite low maintenance colors and style is this curly French bob with subtle hot blonde scanning! The low color and darker blonde make it possible to grow out naturally while keeping the length close to the jawline makes it easy to wash and go!A with Hair Designer This is the French bob’s slightly longer version. Characterized by the length falling around the jaw and the exposure of the neck coupled with a soft fringe that grazes the eyebrows while framing the face – the French bob looks so easily beautiful. The texture and softness are my favorite thing about this haircut. It is easy to style with low maintenance and grows beautifully in the form of a razor. Kevin Murphy has amazing products for this look and my favorite formula after air-drying the hair (or rolling out of bed) is using Powder Puff gently tap it into the roots for volume and a bit into the ends to produce a soft airy texture and then I finish it off with Doo Over for lasting power to shape and form the perfect disheveled messy texture. Another way to achieve the look is by twisting randomly shaped pieces of wet hair and then highlighting the wavy texture and adding weight and retaining the Sea Salt Spray in the roots and ends of Eleven Australia. Let dry or diffuse air.

A Chin Length Cut

A with Co-owner / Hairstylist This is a classic textured bob. I like to leave a one-long illusion, but razor-cut a lot of hair movement and help bring out the natural wave! I guess that’s what a French bob really does – the simplicity of style that makes it look effortless. My truthful advice is to take the lead from the stylist. Many consumers are often nervous about going too far with shorter cuts – whatever that means for them. Talk to your stylist and ask them how long the French Bob looks like and flatters your bone structure. I love Mr. Smith Paste Mr. Smith Serum’s mixture and use it to pinch and snap the skin. To make it a little deeper, just exaggerate the front section of your part – it looks hot on everyone!

Fringe Cute Bob

This is the French bob. This look is now very popular with social media in particular. It would carry the instahair of the hashtag. It’s modern chic and successful if worn with confidence (like my beautiful model, I love simplicity. It’s the essence of less is more. It’s a sleek and trendy bob. My favorite thing about it is that it’s timeless, it fits different women’s ages and the way it’s blow-dried is just so fashionable. It’s not just about the hair, it’s style.

A with Salon Owner / Hair Stylist This look is a classic French bob, but it still feels modern and fresh in the 1970s. Consider the texture and density of your particular hair and make sure you’re comfortable with a shorter length. The form here is more square than round on finer and more delicate texture of the skin. Because at the ends you keep more density, it wears very well on hair that lacks completeness and may feel a little heavier on someone with very thick hair. I love this cut for straight hair, but with a few modifications it is suitable for wavy and curly hair. The color will help to stand out in this style. For an edgier feeling I would choose a platinum or pastel color, or it would be amazing to have a softer look rich in chocolate or deep copper! Using a smoothing styling product and a round brush, this could be blown dry into a sleek bob (I love Kevin. Murphy Smooth. Again for a smooth, frizz-free blow-dry). Alternatively, you can use a curling wand to add random texture pops or an all-over pattern of wave or curl. We used a center part here, but with a deep side part, this could also be styled to add more volume and create a different vibe. I was inspired by Debbie Harry when styling Harley and wanted something that at the same time felt done but undone. I made a rough blow with Anti. Gravity Lotion (Kevin. Murphy) for the hair volume with my hands and a Denman brush then used Doo. Over (Kevin. Murphy’s dry powder spray) to create more volume on the mid-to-end lengths rather than the root lengths.
