I bought this bag for my sister who had just earned her degree in accounting. She just likes the box. I don’t know how it’s going to hold up. I bought it from other people based on reviews and I’m glad I’ve done it. It’s real leather and inside it’s very spacious. Enjoy the pockets. Got one that was green. I went to buy it and couldn’t decide between black or cognac, plus wanted one for both my personal and work laptops, so I purchased them both very disappointed in the belt, the fabricator should have spent a few more bucks on it.

It looks like a good quality pack, but a fit for a laptop is too small. There’s no room for anything else until you squeeze it in. Upon his promotion, he bought it for my dad. After a week, he went out and bought another one. Guess the fight to get it in there isn’t worth it.
It’s really good for this package. The quality of the leather also feels really good. Some people complain about the handle on top, but now I know that you can’t put the handle on the top flap where it would usually go because you don’t have clamps holding the flap, just easy-open buttons on the magnet. I’d rather have the magnet buttons than clamps or clasps which take a lot of effort to open just to have the top handle more organized. But if you’re interested in a top handle, I wouldn’t recommend this pack. Often, if on 1 side (vs. crossbody) the should belt seems to slip off your back. To me, this seems to be largely due to the fact that on the belt there is a shoulder pad and the bottom side of it is a sticky surface that is perfect to wear resistance, but poor for sticking to your shoulder. This becomes very distracting very quickly. If you don’t mind wearing a crossbody theme, this is an easy fix.
This is a wonderful scenario! My husband should fit in here with his laptop and all his files. It also looks great and looks very professional. It’s a classy-looking case with plenty of space, but it’s not bulky.

This is an affordable price value package. Here are some of my notes about this product 1) This bag can be used as a laptop or heavy-duty bag. In this pack, which fits comfortably with several other files, I regularly carry my 16inch laptop.
2) Has sufficient compartments to carry all the items needed.
3) The bag is made of quality materials that have not started to crack or tear with approximately one year of use. It has hardly seen any use, even with a fully weighted pack.
I definitely recommended it and purchased it as a gift for the second time. Excellent quality. It’s functional. Technical, technical. The leather is very comfortable, but sturdy enough to make your carry-on luggage a reliable sidekick. Clear and utilitarian design gives a technical appeal that is approachable. Without compromising usability, low profile and lightweight. The main compartment is small, but spacious, with sufficient space for your computers, files, and other accounts.
The amount of good feedback helped me feel good about the purchase, but the one-star reviews I should have listened to. The bag got scratched and hurt. There were areas where it looked like packagers stuck leather tape and pulled it off, taking with it pieces of the floor. I just wish I could recommend it, sorry guys, but it’s performance garbage.

It took 15 minutes to argue with my wife and persuade her that the brown product I ordered was not black. She’s not sure yet. So the “red” color was so black. Even in bright daylight, it was almost impossible to distinguish from black. Nothing like the images at all. Returned it. When I was traveling, I was searching for a bag to use. For added security with the flap, I wanted a messenger style bag. It’s a very nice bag. The compartment of the laptop is padded with a velcro tab. Pockets on the outside for business cards and pens and some additional indoor pockets for a phone charger or ear buds or other small / medium-sized products. This bag will surely be overfiled! The belt on the back is sturdy so it doesn’t cut into your shoulder and the handle is padded so that if you choose to wear it that way it’s also convenient. Quite cool, quite good package.
I inherited a Samsonite hard shell from the 1980s. Its served me well for an almost 40-year-old briefcase that is still in great shape.
Decent leather goods for a poor country boy like me have been hard to find and very costly. It was pretty affordable and the quality of the leather is good! The hardware looks very sturdy. No long trips have been made yet, but it works great and looks amazing around the city. I’ve seen twice the price of bags that didn’t look good and clean. I recommend putting all new leather products with leather oil. They’re going to look good and dress a lot slower. If used a lot, repeat annually.
I made the decision and purchased a more traditional briefcase. With beautiful Colombian cow hide fabric, premium zippers and just the right pockets for computers, tools, papers and supplies, it is very high quality. A worthy substitute for the old briefcase of Dad.
This case of Samsonite Leather is a great purchase. I purchased one in August 2015 for the first time. Now, I decided to buy the same model again after four years of the worst wear and tear you can imagine (left picture). It was a clear option.
Looks: The leather looks great and is very smooth. My 2015 model after four years shows some wear and tear (left picture), but it still looks decent given that I never used any leather cleaner or other items on it and exposed it to a very significant amount of rain and sun.
Strength: I considered this bag to be pretty robust (hence the decision to buy the product twice). I don’t have a light touch, and on the job and off the job this bag followed me. It lay on several beaches, made it by rain and other bad weather, and with books and papers was stretched to its limits. But, miraculously, the inside zippers never vanished. By the way, first of all, one reason I chose this bag is because it’s a flap over the top: if you’ve packed too many books or files to close the zipper, just leave the zipper open and it still looks good. A minor caveat: I actually removed the shoulder strap a few weeks ago, but that happened when I overloaded the case again.
Price: I spent about $90 when I first purchased this product. The price went up to $100 the second time around. I would have been happy to pay a bit more.
Size: I used this leather case to accommodate different size laptops, and you can use it to stow away much more comfortably.
In short, this is one of my best purchases so far from Amazon, and I’m a very regular customer. It looks like leather of good quality. Bag is well-made and highly functional; the performance of design and construction is excellent. I’m holding a laptop, data, calculator, etc. Laptop rests in a padded pocket of its own and is well secured from unintended falls. Twice I left my chair down.

I never thought I’d buy a briefcase. You see, at one time my family owned the best briefcase business in the United States. I don’t say the name, but we’ve been to Roebling NJ. That’s been 30 years ago. I searched for a scenario and decided on this Samsonite eventually. I must tell you the value of the leather is fantastic and very good. One of my biggest things is counting the number of stitches per inch. This has an amazing 8 stitches per inch and they’re all fine. All the compartments are wide and well-considered. The hardware is good as well as outstanding zippers. The handle is also very comfortable and heavy.
All in all, you can pay hundreds of dollars more, but at any rate this value is difficult to beat.
It looks like a nice briefcase! The leather looks beautiful— it is a dark brown, not at all reddish. It says it’s full-grain leather on the label. The hardware looks pretty… We’re going to see how it keeps going. I like the compartments very much. The portion of the laptop is beautifully lined. There are double zippers in the two main compartments, which means you can add a lock to it. I’m very pleased with that result!

Similarly, genuine leather goods don’t last as long as they wear out. Nevertheless, as they are widely available, most people can afford this kind of leather item.
CORRECTED-GRAIN LEATHER HAS CORRECTED IMPERFECTIONS Corrected leather is also known as the lesser known grain. It is a special type of leather that is corrected and modified to enhance its quality and aesthetic qualities by professional leatherworkers. Hides used to produce it do not meet the standards required to make aniline and tanned leather. Using colors and/or stains, an artificial grain was embossed on top and dressed-out. Imperfections are usually sanded off and corrected afterwards. Corrected grain is used in the manufacture of pigmented leather. Typically in the shops this form of leather is readily available and is more affordable.
As for the price, it’s about a genuine leather handbag that you’d expect. It’s more expensive than a polyurethane bag, but with a leather bag you also get the quality. There is no compromise at times for great products. Great bag, great quality, and you’re going to last several years.
3. Split Suede–(“functional and inexpensive leather hides”) After removing the Full Grain layer, the second or lower skin layer left is the Split Suede and will be suede on both sides. Depending on the product, these types of leathers often come in different thicknesses. Since this is a by-product of hide tanning, it is less expensive and therefore used in products that do not require full grain such as tool pouches, moccasins, suede clothing, etc. The application of a synthetic finish and hair cell on one side of the suede to create an artificial look of Full Grain leather, known as “finished split” hide, can also further process this layer of the skin. This is used widely in lower cost furniture and clothing and is known as “Genuine Leather” which, although it may look like something it is not, is still technically.
4. Nubuck Suededed Grain–(“look but don’t touch–very responsive leather”) This Full Grain skin surface has a suede effect by sanding the natural grain gently to expand the hair cell and provides a velvety suede feeling. This also corrects imperfections in the natural grain and is a pleasant result even though it is soft to the touch. Care must be taken against soiling or staining, as afterwards cleaning is very difficult if not impossible. This effect is used in a lot of garments and products from Upholstery.
2. Corrected or embossed grain–(“2nd best,” full grain) Hides that have excessive scratches or scars are further processed by “correcting” a full grain skin’s natural grain. This natural grain is buffed or sanded after splitting to the correct thickness and replaced with an embossed grain and finished to mimic different patterns of hair cells. The resulting effect will look perfect without revealing any natural marks, but this is no longer the actual or natural grain. With a synthetic grain and finish, the natural skin’s original feel or hand and strength are also growing. To mimic the feel, most shoe and handbag leather applications are embossed with exclusive exotic prints. In many Garments and Upholstery, this process is used while still being represented as “full grain leather,” which is technically that layer.
1. Full Grain or Top Grain Leather –(“the best”) This is the upper layer of a hide divided by a dividing machine to different thicknesses into layers. When left as uncorrected natural seed, this outer layer will reveal natural bruises and haircell patterns. Depending on the gage set at the time of splitting and application, the thickness can vary. The hides can then be painted and given different protective finishes. These are the best types of leather, whether made for Upholstery, Garment, Shoe or Saddlery, as they are the strongest and most durable and valuable hide layer.
