After all this is not the first time the possibility of improved functionality for Pixelbook has come up. Earlier this year, eagle-eyed viewers created the documentation of Google with references to an “AltOs.” The latest speculation points to further commitments that mention the Hardware Lab Kit (Hlk) for Microsoft and its Windows Hardware Certification Kit (Whck). As a result, speculators say Google wants to get Windows 10 up and running as an alternative to its own Chrome Os on Pixelbook. In addition, receiving Windows certification would enable the Pixelbook to offer support for Microsoft drivers. At the very least this would offer Pixelbook adopters the opportunity to use Windows 10 even if the hardware doesn’t come as standard. But you just can’t get overly excited yet. The Core i5 Y for the Pixelbook is not necessarily built for a high-end operating system such as Windows 10. Google actually chose it primarily because it’s suitable for a lightweight Os such as Chrome Os. A lack of fans in the system also means if it is working too hard it can overheat. Google has no official comment yet so regard this as just a speculation for now. Spotify Lodges Complaint Against Apple Over Unfair Competition

The tech giant has reportedly undermined entertainment services with its activities on the App Store. Spotify has lodged a complaint against Apple with the European Commission (Ec) arguing that the competition from the App Store is being heavily stifled. The music streaming giant has alleged that Apple uses its monetization policies to put other players at a disadvantage on the App Store. Spotify and other services will pay Apple 30 percent tax on all purchases made via Apple’s payment system which causes the subscription costs of Spotify to go up. In contrast, Apple Music does not come within the tax scheme as it is the operation of Apple itself. Spotify has raised concerns in the past about the 30 percent charge as well when Apple Music launched in 2015 asking users to subscribe directly to the service instead of using iTunes. Some service providers such as Netflix have stopped using payment services offered by Apple but doing so is not a viable option. Spotify has claimed that bypassing the Apple payment system contributes to tech giant restrictions. The music streaming service has also been limited from incorporating smart speaker and Apple Siri with Apple Watch HomePod. Spotify has asked that all programs be treated fairly across the board. Apps such as Deliveroo and Uber are not subject to taxation and do not have many limitations the music streaming company faces. Spotify has also been concerned with the payment system because consumers are forced into using Apple’s payment system due to unfair tariffs. Spotify and Deezer requested the European Union to enforce rules to protect app developers from companies such as Apple but this was not a formal complaint. By running the Android P on its Android Tv unit, the user’s phone will be able to set up a new hardware. The Google app on your smartphone recognizes Android Tv and offers you the option to transfer your account settings through Wi-Fi. Amazon has posted a page on its website that allows users to register for more information about the upcoming “Fire Tv Cube.” The app is designed to be a hands-free Alexa support hybrid version of the Fire Tv-Echo Dot. Amazon is promoting the Next Generation Fire Tv right now. On Amazon’s website, there is a page where you can sign up to receive more news about the upcoming Fire Tv Cube. While the page is empty, and the product details are supposed to be coming soon, there is no information. In the past, reports have suggested the system and the box-like contraction is expected to be the new Fire Tv app with hands-free Alexa support close to the Fire Tv. The current generation Fire Tv devices come with voice assistant from Alexa Amazon and require a separate voice remote for voice activation or an Echo mic. The Cube is designed to rule out both of the criteria above. You don’t need the speaker or the remote to make it work and it will come with a built-in stereo speaker and will work even if Aftvnews says your TV isn’t turned on.
