YouTube is Google’s new app to access the feature with its latest update. A lot of Android apps allow users to privately use all the features without monitoring their operation. YouTube also follows the Chrome and Gboard apps of Google in offering Android Incognito mode. Before the introduction of Incognito mode for YouTube users had the option to log out of their Google account from the YouTube app to allow the viewing of private content. With the latest update on Android users can go from the Settings menu to the History and Privacy settings to disable the tracking. After the latest update which prevents Google from keeping a record of your viewing history, a new “Pause Watch and Search History” has popped up. You will be able to see the regular Google incognito mode icon on the top right of the YouTube app after activating the setting users. By adding an incognito mode button on the app, YouTube can make the process much simpler. The new update has not yet been rolled out in any build, and was internally discovered through a series of strings found in the app. .152 Figure 2 Image Courtesy of YouTube The largest user increase occurred after net neutrality was abolished. Facebook- Cambridge Analytica controversy sparked another flood of Vpn users. As of the beginning of 2018, the number of Vpn users has reached a new peak in the Us and around the world. In some parts of Us, the Vpn companies reported an increase in sales of up to 50 per cent. The timing of buying such Vpn services is in direct correlation with the repeal of net neutrality and the current Facebook privacy controversies, according to the new Edison Trends report which is an analytics company. This latest report finds Digiday saying that two weeks after the Us Federal Communications Commission voted to repeal the proposal for net neutrality on December 14 last year, the first increase in Vpn users has been registered. As we know this now allows Us internet service providers the ability to sell to advertising agencies data that they obtain from their customers. The biggest issue with net neutrality is that data from consumers will be obtained without their permission. So why more and more of these users have opted to use Vpn services and hide their true information online does not come as a surprise then. .154.154 Another increase in Vpn’s revenue has been identified following recent Facebook and Cambridge Analytica controversies ‘ How to avoid Facebook sharing your details with third-party applications ‘ Mark Zuckerberg’s testimony#DeleteFacebook.
