Saúl Craviotto, the Spanish medalist with the most Olympic podiums in history, five, explained this Thursday that there is “Saúl for Paris”, advancing that his intention is to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games.
“For Paris there are three years left. Tokyo was a five-year Olympic cycle with the coronavirus, but now it is shortened to three and I think we can reach 2024,” insisted the 36-year-old canoeist at an event organized in Barcelona by Hockerty, a online bespoke suit and shirt company that has become your sponsor.

In Paris, Craviotto plans to focus on the K4 category and has no other goal than gold: “Coming from a silver, you cannot aspire to another or a bronze, you have to go for gold.”
The canoeist participated this summer in Tokyo in his fourth Olympic Games (he was the Spanish standard-bearer in the opening ceremony together with Mireia Belmonte) and there he won silver in the K4 500 meter category.
Craviotto’s top career achievements are the golds in Beijing 2008 and Rio de Janiero 2016 in K2 500 meters and K2 200 meters, respectively.
