- Mammals: Mammals are vertebrate animals that have warm blood and that, for the most part, once they are given birth, they feed on the milk that the mother keeps in the mammary glands of her breasts. Dogs are found within this animal group, along with animals as diverse as giraffes, bears, kangaroos or mice. But within this group there are different subgroups: viviparous, platypus and echidnas, such as hedgehogs.
- ViviparosDogs fall within the mammalian group of viviparous, that is, those animals the embryo from which develops from fertilization in the womb. If it is cut and knotted, it can be more aesthetic, if it becomes more bulky and if the mother eats it or allows it to dry, a barely perceptible scar can be left.

What animals have a belly button
Not all animals have a navel, in fact, not even all mammals retain this part of the anatomy. They only have a navel placental viviparous mammals, which includes cetaceans such as dolphins and whales. This group of animals, when they are fetuses and are inside the mother’s womb, are fed with the necessary nutrients and oxygen through the umbilical cord, which connects them with the mother.
