Athletic gives accounts today in assembly

Aitor Elizegi and his board of directors face, in principle, the last general assembly of delegated members of their mandate, since at the end of June a new electoral process is scheduled to take place in the Ibaigane chair. The current president of the Bilbao club has revealed whether or not he plans to attend the next elections. At the moment it has enough with the meeting of associates today in San Mamés starting at 10 am.

Athletic’s budget for the current season amounts to 135.4 million in terms of income and 140.8 million in terms of expenses. The total result, at least initially, implies a deficit of around 5.4 million.

One of the proposals that the rojiblanca board will include in its assembly today lies in the so-called Covid fee, for which club members will be asked for an extra contribution of 120 euros. Contribution that, apparently, will not have a linear character, since it is subject to a series of variations depending on the matches that the associates have attended or not at San Mamés so far this League. The Elizegi board, in the manner and manner of the last extraordinary assembly, will allow the delegates to vote on separate accounts and management.
