Women’s short brown hair over 50
This look is a long textured pixie cut with plenty of dot cutting to make a more piecey style. It really brings out a nice contrast with both dark and light tones in the hair which makes the cut more choppy. I think this look is for someone who wants a cool, trendy short cut with versatility of styling. With a distinguishing cream or paste, it can be easily styled for an allled effect or for a more groomed look. With a round brush, you can blow it dry. This style is going to take your hair to the next level and make it look contemporary.
I love to cut short hair this is my favorite hair! I like the feel of a pixie undercut because it adds flexibility and appeal in texture. It also eliminates any unwanted weight so it’s nice to get rid of bulkiness for anyone with heavy coarse hair. There’s also great style flexibility. To show the undercut, you can wear a deep side part or push the part closer to the middle for a different look.A with Master Stylist This is an edgy offset pixie with a natural brown color and the highlights on top are diffused. The best part of this cut is that a woman with lots of dense thick hair that wants a pixie tends to look very quickly like a helmet head and the undercut is a perfect way to get rid of weight and have a cute pixie cut that’s nice for them. For extra smoothness, you should follow it with a flat iron and then slice it to hold it in place for my stiffness and funkiness with some kind of paste. To keep this cut fresh and in shape, it will need to be cut every 3-4 weeks.
Brown Choppy Crop with Highlights
This color is a color correction! My client Angie came to me on top of the previously lightened skin with a black box dye in her hair. Using the black and inserting lighter parts would give it the eye look of the tiger. I used the lightener for Joico Blonde Life and the tone for Joico Lumishine Liquid Demi. The slice is clear. She grows out an old cut of pixies so I just molded the back to match the front length. Styling wise, I used my flat iron to make these waves and finished the look with Joico Beach Shake, a textured spray that splits the waves and gives it a very lived feel! This look was created to extract black box dye from the hair slowly and safely. She is trying to make this cut out so it wasn’t an option to add extra damage from the lightening process. Using Joico, we safely removed the color. She has super straight thick hair so she will add some extra drama by adding a wave texture. She has a sassy character that needs a sassy look!
A with Senior Stylist This is a short wavy bob. The loose waves and fringe that add a nice texture to it as the cut was very short and sharp are the greatest thing about this look for me. This look suits most styles of hair and is perfect for consumers with little time to do their hair with very low maintenance. It was blow dried with mousse styling and a tiny drop of oil was used to finish with a curling wand.
Shorter Mahogany layered cut
Quick shag feel. This cut should look good on any form of the face by detailing the facial structure of the individual’s front framing parts. The color also tends to highlight certain elements of the cut by floating around the face in balayage bits.
Brunette Pixie Shag
/ Colorist This style is a pixie shag a great style for a consumer who doesn’t want to fully commit to a pixie cut and wants a low maintenance style of washing and going. Love it really highlights the natural texture and color of the client’s body. Her light but longer fringe around the face and hairline helps to create a more feminine look and separates this design from the short hairstyle norm. I think it can look great on all styles of skin. It’s for medium to thick hair customers who want to go short but are afraid to look like a mushroom or those fine-haired customers who need a little more volume / fullness. It is also best suited for the shape of the oval face or for stronger jawline. For the rounder eyes, I wouldn’t suggest it. The pictured user is an avid cyclist and has an active lifestyle at all. That cut works great for her because after taking off her bike helmet, she can put in some product to still look and feel amazing!
Really Short Medium Brown Cut
The hair color is normal but I would express it through the ends as a medium natural brown. I love how flexible the wearability and style of this look is. It’s a cut for which you would get a lot of compliments! It’s so nice shorter hair. I think everybody in their life should try some kind of short style. You’d be delighted, even if you think it wouldn’t suit you. For each face, there’s a short style out there. With a look like this, cut elements can be slightly altered to tailor it to your hair type and lifestyle face shape. Other items that could be adjusted to match the wearer would be a longer fringe softness around the ears or more distance around the arms. If you want to keep the look of a shorter cut at least every 2 months, you should be prepared to visit your stylist regularly. I still think a small item helps to describe and polish such a cut. Depending on your hair type and what you want to use, a light pomade wax or textured cream will fit.The precision and texture are my absolute favorite part of this haircut! I used many techniques for slide cutting and point cutting which made the end result just what my customer wanted! Although it was a bit of a challenge, it was so fun to do this haircut! I would definitely recommend Paul Mitchell’s Invisible Wear Pump Me Up and Undone Texture Hairspray for this styling of this haircut if you are going for a more textured living-in look!
