This cut of French crop crew is becoming increasingly popular. Combined with the straight forward bangs, the texture on top really gives this a clean and simple feel.

High Fade
Tidy up your look to achieve this professional form. This modern, high-fade cut crew fits the criteria of being sleek, stylish and sexy. How would you characterize this look?

/ QA with Barber / Cosmetologist Clean and flexible, this classic crew cut with a beard. My favorite thing about it is being able to customize it to the taste of a person. It can be either side or middle up styled to make it easy and look good. I used Hudson and Hammers Alchemy for cosmetics, which is a combination of pomade and wax making a satin shine. It’s going to do any pomade with a sheen. This looks like something clean and easy to style for the modern man. Whether you’re searching for haircuts for men or boys, this classic hairstyle cutting crew fits everyone!

/ Ivy League Crew Cut
My Kyle design rocked the undercut / man bun we’ve seen since around 2015. By cutting a crew, he changed his entire style and came out looking and feeling professional and comfortable.
Mid-Fade

Taper Fade Crew Cut / How would you characterize this look? This is a crew cut that features a taper fade in the middle of the fade. It’s like watching it. It will never get boring when you find a nice piece like a Rolex. The haircut will still stand out as the classic look with the addition of a fade and the customer’s view on how they want to line up their sideburns (i.e. straight square or tapered). Any advice that someone thinks about it? For almost everyone, this kind of haircut would be appropriate. For most guys, I believe this haircut is appropriate as it fits most head shapes. The style also relies on the growth of their hair. The hair line will be the judge to whom it will better be combed. This hairstyle is very flexible as well. If the barber or stylist decides to leave more space on the front, the customer will be able to pull the part up because they appear like a pompadour. This hairstyle is quite common from a client’s point of view. It would still look great if the client decides to wear their hair messy or clean. The crew cut is a perfect hairstyle with little or no products needed for casual days or evenings and a smooth and clean finish for a classic look.
Military crew Cut

/ QA with Master Barber Short back and sides and hair length on top between one or two inches are defined by the military crew cut. Generally, the longest hair starts at the front hairline and shortens gradually towards the crown area. The sides and back may be as short as the hair. The length the back and sides are needed to be tapered to fit with the length of the hair cut at the top of the head. In the crown area, the hair will be cut very short so as to eliminate the problem of getting spiky hair in the back of the head’s whorl area that will just not lay down. As a barber, the fact that it does three things very well is my favorite thing about this look: it grows out perfectly, it’s easy to style and it’s both athletic and professional. The advice that someone thinks about it? For anyone who wants a low-maintenance hairstyle and/or has a vocation or position that may require certain hair-length regulations (i.e. police officers athletes military personnel, etc.), I recommend crew cutting hairstyles. I suggest this cut even for people who are working what others call white collar jobs because this look clearly exudes confidence when properly styled. This will result in a more oval-shaped face. If the individual feels like their face is too big, the barber or stylist can lengthen the face’s appearance by leaving the hair on top longer so that the client can style their hair up and into a short pompadour that looks great at all times. I’d recommend anyone who wants this look to ask their barber or stylist to model the cut of their crew to give the face the most oval shape. Typically this is achieved by maintaining the length (or squaring up) where the sides of the head touch the top and keeping the length at the end. Through working a tiny dab of 18.21 ManMade Paste (medium keep satin sheen) through towel-dried hair, this look as seen on my patron in the picture was styled. I gradually combed it into form until I worked the pomade through the hair by moving the hair forward and sideways from left to right while combing the hair back and up on the front hairline. The nice thing about styling a cut from the crew is that with the number of different things you can get great results. For the person who wants a dapper more dressed up look, I would suggest a high hold pomade or a medium hold paste. If you were going to look looser or messier, I would suggest a clay that was added to dry hair and roughed up a little by hand.
For those who want a shorter haircut, this look is perfect. It suits all styles of hair. I recommend a good matt pomade like the pomade of Byrd Matte or Reuzel Clay. How would you characterize this look?
Fade

I wanted to take it nice and short on the sides so that the cut could show off its facial characteristics. So leave enough length on top that various looks can be produced. When you have a lot of length and texture, depending on how you cut it, it can give you the messy template look you see in the magazines, or you can make it more formal. I love this cut’s versatility. I love getting the hair nice and smooth so it shows off their face and then blends and softens it up to the top and all that texture comes to life. It’s challenging because the head shape of everyone is so different and a lot of concentration is required. But for me, it’s really therapy. I love that. All the time, I’m thinking. Any advice that someone thinks about it? When a client tells me that they want a break from the crew, I look at the face right away. It’s all about. Their jaw eyes of their cheekbones front nose lips their face form profile. It’s all. That’s how I know to give them what kind of slice. That’s my road map to tell me how I will personally give them the best slice. Honestly I think this cut can be worn by any personality. You just need to own it?
Mid-fade textured crew cut

QA with barber This mid-fade textured crew cut is both classic and strong. I like the texture on top of the uniformly cut surfaces. The standardized layers have been cut short of giving the top some very easy to control movement and thickness. The suggestions that someone feels about it? This guy is a policeman who needs a clean and easy thing. He has very thick hair and his top can be relaxed and lightened by this crew cut while still looking thick to reveal the fade well. This synthetic horizontal fringe will cover the receding hairline very well for customers with a receding hairline and thin hair. The barber simply has to be mindful of the portion which needs to be kept in order to form the thickness that covers the receding part. This cut can be balanced by many face shapes as long as we adjust the height of the conjunction. For example, a rounder face would look good with a mid-to-high fade, while an even lower mid-fade long thin face would look good.

Brown

QA with Creative Color Hair Artist I name this all-over brown chocolate look with white and milky tone ribbons. Sometimes a half-color can go a long way as in this example with 4N PM Shines Fudge Brownie all over the canvas, which started with a few inches of her natural dull light brown regrowth with previous highlights from last year. For long layers, the full curl style shows the quality of the hair making the strands look thick. The best thing is the fact that a blowout was planned for this style so it will last for days on this customer! The suggestions that someone feels about it? Tools used in the crown are Moroccan oil root boost and Moroccan oil smoothing lotion to calm all the wild little frizzies disbursed throughout the hair with a concave circular brush vented boar bristle. Then with the Kenra Blow Dry Spray platinum preparation and finishing with Kenra 9 Custom Spray after base-to-end curling with a marcel iron the hair will be ready for the weekend!
Dark Golden Brown

What’s the feel like? This haircut is a natural look of softness. The most beautiful thing about this look is that I cut the hair naturally based on how it falls to give an invisible layer effect, then I worked on the inside of the hair to add texture and contrast to the natural movement of the skin. The color is a hot brown that is easy to maintain as the natural hair color of my client is light brown. Then I did some very fine balayage weaves in a few places to add a slightly lighter tone and offer texture. We only applied some Rossano Ferretti Dolce volume spray on the roots to style the hair and then Rossano Ferretti Velluto for serum on the ends to protect against exposure to heat and keep the hair smooth and free of frizz. Then I blow-dried for a natural curl with a medium round comb. The suggestions that someone feels about it?

Milk Chocolate Brown with Caramel Swirls

I will name this look milk chocolate caramel swirl with cosmetologist esthetician Instagram QA. There’s so much depth in this look, but in the cut that’s called an inverted bob, it’s actually seen. Because she has great thick hair, this has a slight undercut in the back. I left her wispy and whimsical front parts because she likes to wear it with her wavy hair. The fun you can have with both the cut and the color is my favorite thing about this look. It will always give you a different play on both the color and the cut by wearing this straight wavy or curled. It makes it extremely flexible. The suggestions that someone feels about it? Customers looking for this look should ask for hand-painted color bits. Adjustments will only need to be made to suit the colors better with the skin tones and depth of the eye color of the customer. The stylist should consider the face shape of the client when asking for the cut and adjust the length accordingly. For example, someone with a longer face would wear the front a bit shorter and add a few more layers on the sides for volume and balance. Someone with a more square face should wear it in the front again a little longer to match its form.
Hot Dimensional Chestnut Brown

Instagram QA with Stylist / Color Expert This look features hot-sized browns and chestnut brown hints. The gentle mix of all the different tones and the shine it makes is my favorite thing about it. The suggestions that someone feels about it? This is the perfect look for the low-maintenance girl who still wants glamorous hair. She is also worried about her hair’s health and dignity. The color line of Kevin Murphy (Color ME) is a multi-dimensional color filled with fantastic ingredients like shea butter hone and rose hip oil. This offers amazing shine, leaving the hair looking like silk. Instead of the hair being a matte solid color, a subtle multi-dimensional color is achieved without highlights being maintained or bold. This is a great look for someone who is already a brunette or who wants to become one by combining warmth and elegance with tones that switch subtly. The cut is as critical as the paint. These layers are long and cut to create movement and separation in the curls with plenty of texture. Have you ever wondered why some waves are crashing beautifully, while others are looking large and chunky? Everything is in the cut! This technique of cutting also helps to reduce dry blow time! The suggestions that someone feels about it? This look is ideal for a lovely classic-style lady. The development of these waves at home is simple. Taking a few extra minutes to curl this look will make these colors really pop up. Wearing this flat and smooth color is just as beautiful, but know that when worn straight, it will look more blended. Just one paint combination, two different looks who doesn’t want that? Pair hair colors like this with a dark red lipstick and you’ll look pulled together immediately and you’re almost sure to be a complementary magnet! Regular trimming glosses and touch-ups are very important to maintain this shape of color and the overall hair health. Starting with a waving cream on dried towel hair. This will build the basis for keeping your curls looking perfect all day long. My current favorite is to make Kin North America’s Waves hair cream. It has a great texture and is not going to weigh down your hair. Finish off with Glam Touch Shine Spray by Kin when you’re pleased with your waves. Talk about the hair bling! Not only does this spray offer a stunning finish shine, it also doubles as the most amazing hair fragrance. Instagram How would you describe this look?
DimensionalCinnamon Brown

This look shows exactly what brown hair should be: natural and dimensioned shiny hair! We scanned baby lights into her hair to build depth and wealth because brunets can look matt or drab frequently. The cut is my favorite piece of this look! With some wave, this customer has extremely thick skin. For long layers, we eliminated weight and restored movement. It’s a very versatile look that can be worn with loose waves or smoothly! It’s easy to wear and style between the washes for a few days. The suggestions that someone feels about it? The very first thing I do in my chair has a detailed customer briefing. What are their best facial features, and are they obscured or enhanced by the new cut and color? You can’t wear long hairstyles. For example, oblong faces are expected to steer away as they often make the face look even longer. Nonetheless, it is possible to lengthen a round face and soften square faces by adding design angles to the front! I think brunettes need money. Speak to your stylist about highlights / balayage and glosses in order to bring out colors that work best with your skin and positioning that suits your lifestyle. During the blow dry and done with Kevin Murphy Shimmer. Shine, we used L’Oreal TechniArt Sleek and Swing for holding and smoothing. I love these two lines because they have a variety of products that do multiple things in a single product. Make sure to use hydrating shampoos and conditioners as well, because the shower begins with a good look! Instagram QA with Art Director How would you describe this look?
Natural Light Brown

It’s such a trendy look. This lady has always covered her gray hair with a dark brown hue, but she wanted to make a switch to something more natural that would offer her confidence. I choose to scan her dark brown hue to a bright brown hair color to keep the original color but not so dull. The great thing about this look is you don’t have to constantly paint it.Colorist QA How are you going to describe this look? Nowadays, most looks are not just highlights involving a few techniques. I did teasey lights and balayage for this look. I love looks like this because it provides a brown element and movement to boost every haircut while maintaining low maintenance. The suggestions that someone feels about it? For most brunettes, this is a great look and can be changed depending on the color of the face and the haircut. Display your color pictures at all times because they are our best guide and just go for them!

Instagram How would you characterize this look? It’s so fun and edgy, the perfect summer night. I love how blended and seamless this color is. It’s a fresh, easy-to – do style take on the Lob cut at home. My favorite thing about this look is that for anyone who wants to be dark and bright, it’s a great color. With a low maintenance bonus, you get the best of both worlds! The suggestions that someone feels about it? This hair color and cut are ideal for the customer who wants a bit of texture and likes to wear wavy hair. The color adds a different dimension and is ideal for all hair types, but hair that is medium in thickness and naturally straight is great for a dark summer like this.
Dark to Medium Golden Brown Ombre

Instagram QA with Salon Educator / Downtown Floor Lead Simplicity is the look I’ve made. I love the mixture of light. The root-to-highlight transformation produces an effortless impact. The suggestions that someone feels about it? This look is for the low-maintenance woman who wants to improve her natural color while getting a lived-in highlight’s intensity. What’s great about this look is that it works for any lifestyle or face shape. I recommend a good shampoo and conditioner for color protection, such as Pureology Hydrate or Redken Color Magnetics. I used Pureology Color Fanatic 21 Benefits Spray to remove and protect Redken Pillow Proof Spray for a quick dry blow and Redken Wind Blown to add texture and grip.
I would say to take into account their natural color for any guests considering this look. It would take a refresh every six to eight weeks to maintain a foundation that is lighter. I still consider using a shampoo and conditioner that is color-safe to avoid fading. Obviously, this particular guest has curls so I used Lakme Top 10 on damp hair. Before smoothing, I also used Paul Mitchell’s Hot Off The Press heat protection on dry hair. For extra shine and moisture, I finished the ends with Lakme Bio Argan Oil.
Dark Brown Brunette
Dark Brown Brunette
QA with Stylist / Salon Educator How would you describe this look? I’d characterize this look as a subtle, textured, living-in a-linelob. The broken edge would be my favorite thing about this haircut. The suggestions that someone feels about it? Some advice I would give to a client who wants to recreate this haircut would be to consider their lifestyle changing the length of the hair to be more ponytail-friendly. The one-long lob is a perfect universal cut for hair types and textures formed by all eyes. I would recommend changing the amount of texture to prevent over-texturizing finer hair types depending on the hair thickness.
Milk Chocolate Babylights

Instagram QA with Salon Director I would describe it as an effortless milk chocolate baby light. My favorite thing about this look is that for someone new to color their hair, it’s any easy transition. This encourages the color of the user without feeling overwhelmed. To create and maintain this look, what items do you recommend? To create these waves, I recommend Rusk’s Texture Spray and J Beverly Hills Fragile shampoo and conditioner to keep the color and shine. What kind of customer do you suggest this look for?
Senior Stylist Instagram QA Medium Brown Honey Blonde Balayage

To women who want to switch their hair color from a dark base and/or grow their hair, I suggest this look. It’s also an idea for women with greys creeping up as it’s low maintenance and the dimensional color will camouflage the grey re-growth stretching your next visit for an additional two to three weeks! This color is very modest and universal, and on most skin tones it looks great.
Caramel Rich Fall Brown Highlights
QA with Designer / Makeup Artist How would you describe this look and what’s your favorite thing about it? I’d see this as a dark and textured fall brown hair with some highlights of caramel throughout. My favorite thing about this look is it’s casual and friendly! Which items do you suggest that this look be created and maintained? I still recommend a great color-safe shampoo and conditioner to achieve and maintain this look, followed by a root lifting spray before blowing drying. After curling with a brush, I like to finish with a textured spray and seal the deal with a little shine spray. This look is fabulous for the client who wants the versatility of straight or curled hair and loves the soft lived-in look. I think the color on most skin tones and hair types is really bright. This look is perfect for the woman who wants to mix it up and have some fun but still loves a timeless, classic color. ServicePhoto Copyright Policy Latest-Hair Contact UsPrivacy PolicySitemapTerms?
