It has been fitted with a number of amenities to help make the most of the outdoors for local walkers and scouts. Features include a bathroom with kitchen drying space and campfire circle. And today, on their 25th anniversary, The Earl toured a kitchen garden restoration project and learned more about the hard work of the Lakeland Community Care Center and was brought back in time to a 200-year-old cottage in thatch. Edward is happily married to Sophie Rhys-Jones, a Countess with whom he shares two children. With Edward being relatively scandal-free Queen Elizabeth and her husband Prince Philip, he and his family are officially adoring him. Philip is even preparing to hand over his title as Edinburgh’s Duke to Edward when he passes through. Given how much trouble the majority of her kids have caused over the years, it’s safe to say Edward is one of her favourites.
