Tony Hale – Tony Hale Biography

Anthony R. Hale He was born in September 1970 in the town of West Point (New York), in the United States.

He was raised in Tallahassee (Florida) where he took classes at the Young Actors Theater, and participated in numerous theatrical and musical works.

After finishing high school, he studied journalism at the Samford University from Birmingham, Alabama, graduating in 1992. Two years later he completed further studies at the College of Arts and Communication at the Regent University from Virginia. He immediately settled in New York City, where he lived for the next 10 years, participating during that period in the founding of the Christian Ministry The Haven“, a Christian artistic community.

He began acting in the mid-90’s, in series and movies for television. His most remembered role is undoubtedly that of Byron “Buster” Bluth, the neurotic younger brother of the family, in the sitcom “Arrested Development“, which he performed between 2003 and 2006.

His film credits are also very extensive, and include titles such as “Stranger than fiction“(2006),”Dante’s Inferno“(2007),”The Year of Getting to Know Us“(2008) or”Burning wheels“(2009).

He then got other regular roles like that of Simon on “Andy Barker, PI“, Emmett milbarge on “Buy More“, Stuart grundy on “Ctrl“or Emmett milbarge on “Chuck“; in addition to numerous appearances as a guest artist in many other series.

Among his next projects, Hale is working on five feature films, including the film version of “Arrested Development“, where he will play again Byron ‘Buster’ Bluth.

Regarding his personal life, he has been married, since May 2003, to Martel thompson, award-winning film makeup artist Emmy For his job. The couple met in a Bible study group in New York, they both have a daughter named Loy ann.
