8 Best Drink Recipes For a Memorial Day PartyChris Reed More Articles Heroes have complete games to sing their praises while most sidekicks only get a passing nod. It’s time to give its due to these brave people. Here are five sidekicks that not only help the heroes achieve their destiny, they also rely on trustworthy charismatic and talented enough to star in their own games.
1. Ellie from The Last of Us
7/7.298 It’s unusual for a game to concentrate so closely on the bond between two people as The Last of Us does with Joel, a man who has lost his daughter and Ellie, a girl in need of a trusted adult. Such invincible characters navigate a post-apocalyptic U.S. fighting off mutant zombies while getting to know one another and loving one another. Along the way they come across some of the humanity that had started to crumble as they struggled to survive. Joel is all we d expect from a hero but Ellie is stealing the show. She is a funny tough relatable friend who sits there to lend a hand when you need the most support you can. 2.
Luigi from Mario Games
7/7.299 Source: Nintendo You can’t go wrong with Mario when you pick characters in a Nintendo Game. He has below average height leaps and average weight jumps. He’s a safe choice but like uncooked pasta he’s as bland. It’s t typical Luigi. The gangly green giant jumps higher and runs more erratically than Mario, after decades of having Mario’s play mechanics ingrained in our minds, which takes some getting used to. Similarly, Luigi is remarkably brave as shown in Luigi’s Mansion games which have him busting ghosts in haunted houses. Luigi is an underestimate. He’s getting t the kid. He t saves the day. That’s why he’s connected. That’s why we’re cheering even more for him.
