The Ramones is a rock band from Queens, New York.

Founded in 1974, it was one of the first bands that gave rise to a new style of music characterized by its rebellion and speed in music, this movement was called punk rock.

The group was originally formed by John cummings (Johnny ramone) on guitar, Jeffry hyman (Joey ramone) on battery, Douglas glenn colvin (Dee Dee Ramone) on bass and lead vocals of the band.
