Directed by John Frankenheimer in 1962, “The Messenger of Fear” is an American film made in black and white. It is a political thriller based on a novel by Richard Condon. It starred actors of the stature of Frank Sinatra, Laurence Harvey, Angela Lansbury and Janet Leigh, among others.

The feature film, although it received rave reviews and quickly became a cult film, has been aired very little. He obtained 2 Oscar nominations.

The action in the film is set at the time of the Korean War, and tells us about the kidnapping of the son of a powerful family of conservative politicians in the United States.

The objective of the kidnapping will not be a ransom, but to brainwash him into a murderer, who will have his role in a sinister political intrigue.
