AFOLs have been courted by Lego Masters to compete
Lego Masters is based on a British competition show, so they already knew there were AFOLs. Everyone thinks they’re just toys for kids, but as you know, Dominici said a big AFOL Adult Fan from the Lego group. That s who are our constructors. We just wanted to have that remembered. We wanted to cast people as diverse as possible, who were not only great builders but also great characters. As Lego Masters host Arnett has the enviable position of seeing all the masters at work. He’s surprised at how varied the works of AFOLs are. Lego Masters having a lot of pre-existing teams that have joined the show to participate. Some however due to the series became teams. Dominic said one of our teams did actually meet during the casting process. Many Lego teams were there for a big Lego community and they knew each other or were fans of each other before but one team met as part of the casting and agreed that we could do this together.
The obstacles of the Lego Masters are designed to push builders from their comfort zones. Arnett was delighted to see him become even more impressive by builders who had already inspired him. You see there would be teams that are great technical constructors for a week two but had to learn how to become better storytellers. And then there were great storytelling and great artistic teams that if you like had to learn how to become better engineers.

The two have now broken up and Austen Kroll seems to be heartbroken.
