In ‘ Saved By the Bell, ‘ Mark-Paul Gosselaar starred

Gosselaar was the star of Saved By the Bell, an NBC sitcom that aired for many years. It actually began as Good Morning Miss Bliss airing for one season on the Disney Channel from 1988-1989. The series was then redesigned to become the show we know and (somehow still) love today for a more teenage audience.

He’s gone on to have a great TV career

A career-defining role like Zack Morris can be difficult to pivot away from. And it took him a couple of years to find something that really stuck, but Gosselaar continued to plug on TV and eventually landed a major role in NYPD Blue’s final few seasons showing he had dramatic skills. From there Gosselaar has gone back and forth in series like Happy Endings and Nobodies between comedy and drama. Although many of his TV series only lasted for one season, overall he’s had quite a bit of success.So far we know that Mario Lopez (A.C. Slater) and Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Spano) will come back on the project and that Lopez is an executive producer. We also have an official description: “When California Governor Zack Morris (Time-out Governor Zack Morris?! Time-in!) gets into hot water to close too many low-income high schools he proposes moving the impacted students to the state’s highest-performing schools,” including Bayside High.
