The media company sends reminders to illegally streaming pirate sites not to broadcast any unauthorized streams during the World Cup. The notices threaten the illegal broadcasters with civil and criminal action if they violate the broadcasting rights of Sony Espn. Soccer is the world’s most popular sport, with an approximate fan base of 3.5 billion people. With the internet being easily accessible across the globe streaming websites that illegally broadcast matches have increased dramatically in numbers. A recent publication shows that companies that were part of the video were trained to respond correctly to all the queries that Google Assistant asked. One of the most talked about features for Google Assistant in the recently concluded I / O developer conference was Google Duplex. The new feature enables Google Assistant to make calls to book appointments or make requests on the user’s behalf. During the live keynote Google highlighted the new feature. However, a recent publication has reported that the local businesses called by the were trained to give Google Assistant the same responses each time. Usually background noise is required when calling establishments such as a salon or restaurant. It was also suspicious that the receptionists had not asked for a contact number. Typically when making a reservation the customer’s name and contact number is taken but in Google’s case in both cases the assistant was not requested. The tech giant has refused to reveal the names of both establishments when asked to publicly identify the establishments that were named by Google when presenting Google Duplex at I / O. The above reasons point to the editing of the Google Duplex demo prior to the presentation, rather than live calls on stage.
