Nyc.com is found to host the Pirate Torrent Site ByDeepak Parihar-July 1 2018.801 Nyc.com is found to be hosting a pirate site for everything people love about New York City. The official website has allegedly a copy of 1337x concealed in its subdomain. The New York-based company is a big brand selling tickets and inventory of hotels and this confirmed violation could be harmful to the brand. Piracy is a plague, and the Internet is your bed for the monster to hide under. The beast also gets creative and manages beautifully to hide, but it can’t hide from everybody not all the time. Today Torrent Freak announced that it stumbled upon a copy of the famous Nyc.com website 1337x under the domain “cdn.nyc.com.” Now this is news because Nyc.com is a major brand that was founded in 1996 and has a business model that sells hotel inventories and tickets primarily for New York deals. The consequence of the breach is clearly detrimental to the brand that has built up trust among its consumers over the past few decades. Nyc.com currently host thousands of pages of copyrighted content sharing that is apparently illegal. Hosting a torrent like that is not something that a legitimate website would do. Torrent Freak has confirmed that the torrent site uses the entire “cdn.nyc.com” domain. Reportedly, Nyc.com also uses Cdn, which is now served at satanic.nyc.com. The aforementioned breach has evidently deceived the staff that maintains the site, as the violation has not been identified nor repaired. The violation, however, could not avoid the various copyright holders ‘ attention. Popular content providers and publishers like Sony Pictures and Netflix have sent Google a takedown request against the domain according to the article. The study also states that the first request for deletion was submitted early in June, after which more than 1000 Urls were registered subsequently. It is unclear if any of the aforementioned publishers tried to contact Nyc.com directly. Torrent Freak reported the issue to the site owner to whom the Nyc.com spokesperson responded ‘ the issue has been reported to the development team. ‘ Nyc.com is expected to take down the torrent pages early, or at least reveal the reason for hosting them. The amplifier is designed to produce better sound in real life, and can provide better suppression of bass microphone noise and more complicated volume control. Google has unveiled a new phone and tablet audio system that will make it into Android P. The new audio platform features a sound enhancement and new dynamic processing effects. The new framework will offer consumers a better audio experience. The sound amplifier will allow Android devices to deliver better sound quality in real time. The amplifier not only acts as an audio enhancement tool based on software but can also perform tasks such as blocking microphone audio or modifying audio depending on the ambience. The Android Open Source Project has already been modified to include the Dynamics Processing Effect that should turn it from all manufacturers into every Android P app. Many manufacturers may however choose to include a third party, or their audio improvements. Htc was renowned for its Beats audio upgrades while Sony had its audio enhancements on its Android devices under the Walkman branding. .803 The sound system for Android P allows users to comply with 5.1 stereo audio and developers can tinker with the numbers to fine-tune the audio for their applications. The system contains improvements to both pre-Eq and post-Eq along with a multiband compressor. The compressor allows for the generation of quieter sounds by means of noise suppression technology. At the developer conference, Google stated that more than 100 options would be available to developers using the new framework for fine tuning the audio. End-users will not run all of the settings. Phone and tablet owners will get access to much simpler controls that are limited in nature. With a volume slider and a filter slider available in the Ui, the 100 + controls are brought down to just two simple sliders for end users. The new framework should also lead to better microphone suppression allowing devices to pick up a user’s voice over the background noise and distortion.
