Rossy War – Rossy War Biography

Rossy War is actually Rosa Guerra Morales, She was born in the hamlet of Lago de Valencia, Madre de Dios in Peru on January 3, 1969. Her parents are Carlos Víctor Guerra and Lili Morales. She has 5 siblings and from a very young age she showed a great taste for music. He began to sing with Los Fender’s de Puerto Maldonado making many presentations in his town.

At the age of 17, she arrived in the Peruvian capital where she did a series of jobs that had nothing to do with music and singing, she even wanted to study secretary and nursing.

Later, was in the group Los Bio Chips in 1984 starting in technocumbia which is a mixture mainly of chicha music. It was in this group where she meets who would be her husband, known as Tito Mauri.

When she married Alberto Mauri Rossy War and the Kaliente Band were created, in 1997 where Rossy initially performed in the choirs and shortly thereafter, they became known in the provinces and then in Lima.

Soon, Mauri created the record label Fama Record and Rossy debuted at the Country club del Bosque in the city of Cuzco.

When starting with their presentations in the southern Peruvian provinces they got a great reception and they tried the north of the country, achieving the same success.

Her third album entitled Como un dulce poem (Like a sweet poem), was the one that brought her fame in the city of Lima and it was the song I never thought to cry that brought her to the capital market, becoming known throughout the country.

The musical genre expanded to other nearby countries and in Mexico He was compared with the singer Ana Gabriel for his very similar voice.

Soon his songs reach the United States, also becoming very popular.
For 1998 new themes appear like Forbidden Love, The Footprints of your love and Dear Port, making Rossy’s career that much stronger.

After making a series of tours in Peru and other countries, he launched his fourth production called Las Huellas de tu amor.

In 1999 his albums Me deceived and Secret of love were released., from which hit songs like Carta de Dios and a cover of Make love with another by Mexican Alejandra Guzmán came out.

For the new millennium it continued with great success but as part of Alberto Fujimori’s presidential campaign, its success began to decline as the musical genre began to decline.

In 2011 he returned with a new album and with two songs that quickly had a great reception such as The worst and Damn your betrayal. What’s more, started with new tours around his country.
