Actor Roberto Cairo was born on May 3, 1963 in Madrid.
He is an actor who has worked both in film and on television and in theater. It is in this latter medium that he made his debut, in 1984, with the work “Las mujeres sabias”. Since then, the actor has not only made his debut in a large number of productions but has also adapted, directed and interpreted at the same time, specifically in Anton Chejov’s play “Petición de mano”, in 2003.
As for television, in 1990 he participated in the series “The forge of a rebel”, and in 1991 in an episode of series such as “Farmacia de Guardia”.
From 1993 to 1995, he was part of the cast of actors in the series “Thieves go to the office”, where he gave life to Inspector Gutiérrez. In the same year 1993 he also worked in “Lleno, por favor”, the series starring Alfredo Landa, and in 1997 he took part in the production of Antena3 “Mom, I want to be an artist”.
In 1998 he was Luis in the series “Señor alcalde”, and in 2001 he was offered to join the series “Tell me how it happened”, in which he has obtained great popularity by giving life to Desiderio Quijo, a character very close to the protagonist main, Antonio Alcántar, and who has been taking center stage throughout the years of broadcast of the series.
The actor also participated, episodically, in 2011, in the successful series “La que se avecina”, and, later, in “Colgados”.
He has also starred in some telefilms, feature films made especially for television, such as “Miguel Servet” or The Other Face of Rosendo Juárez “.
Roberto has also participated in some films for the big screen. In 1992 he took part in two feature films, “I love your rich bed” and “I’ll get off the next one, what about you?”.
Other titles that appear in his filmography are “Witches”, “Great occasions”, “Fugitives”, “Wind of the people: Miguel Hernández”, “Vivancos 3” or “Crazy about sex”, among some others. He has also directed some shorts, such as “Pandemonium”, “Mineral” and “Ángel”.
He received a nomination for best supporting actor from the Union of Actors for his work on the series “Cuéntame.”
