Robert Lyle KnepperThe son of a veterinarian, he was born in July 1959 in Fremont, Ohio; and was raised in Maumee.
Her mother worked in the props of the community theater in her city, so RobertFrom a young age, he began to be interested in acting.
During his adolescence, he made numerous productions both in said Community Theater, and in high school.
He later studied drama at the Northwestern University. During that time, Robert got professional jobs at Chicago construction sites. Close to graduating Robert he left Northwestern and moved to New York, where he continued to work in theaters.
In 1986 he made his film debut in “This is life!” from Blake edwards, and on television with a role in the series “The Paper ChaseFrom then on, he began to land roles for movies and television series.
After its debut, Knepper participated in numerous films, including the film of Woody Allen “They all say I love you” (nineteen ninety six), “Dead on arrival“(1988),”Two renegades“(1989),”Young Weapon 2” (1990), “Gas Food Lodging“(1992),”Hostage“(2005),”The Transporter 3“(2008),”Good night and good luck.“(2005),”Hitman“(2007) and”Ultimatum to earth“(2008).
He was a guest actor in the series “Law“,”Law and Order: Criminal Action“,”La Femme Nikita“,”New York Undercover“,”Star Trek The Next Generation“,”Star trek voyager“,”Emergencies (ER)“,”LA Law“,”Profiler“,”South beach“,”Murder, She Wrote“,”CSI Miami” Y “The West Wing“.
He currently personifies Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell in the series of Fox “Prison Break“, for whose performance he was nominated for Satellite Award.
Knepper he lives in Los Angeles with his wife Tory herald and his son.
