Following the divorce of her parents, a rabbi of the Jewish Orthodox Church and a psychology professor, she grew up in the city of Pittsburgh.
Rena She was discovered at age 15 by a New York talent scout and soon after began working on series and soap operas.
Among the pepeles that have given him the greatest fame to date we can mention that of Lois cerullo on “General Hospital“, for which he won an award Emmy in the category Best Supporting Actress; the one of Eve cleary on “Melrose place“; Suzanne Vandermeer on “Oh grow up“; Bonnie hane on “Ed“; Vicki costa on “Just Shoot Me!“; Susan freeman on “Coupling“and that of Christie Dunbar on “Blind Justice“.
In recent years, she could be seen playing Marilyn bauer on “24“; to Heidi petrelli on “Heroes” already Margaret Allison Hart on “Navy NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service“; in addition to having been a guest artist in countless other series.
In 1992 he made his debut before the big screen, in the feature film starring Melanie Griffith, “A stranger among us“. Rena also worked on “More than friends“(2000), romantic comedy whose cast headed Ben stiller, Edward Norton Y Jenna elfman; and in the four award-winning film Oscar directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Benicio, the bull, Catherine Zeta Jones Y Michael Douglas, “Traffic“(2000).
Most recently he starred alongside Patrick Warburton Y Andy dick the comedy “Rock slyde“(2009) and the independent film”Sarah“(2010).
In regards to her personal life, she is divorced from the actor Wally kurth (who played her husband in “General Hospital“), with whom he had his first daughter Rosabel Rosalind Kurth, born in September 1996. In May 2003 she married the director and producer Sanford bookstaver; with whom he had his second daughter by name Avalon leone, in August 2005.
