Casnoff is well known for his performances on television series, his role being remembered as Elkanah bent in the series “North and South“,”North and South, Book II” Y “Heaven & Hell: North & South, Book III“. Between 1999 and 2000, he played Nikolai Stanislofsky, in the series “Oz“; and then he got the role of the Dr. Robert Jackson in the medical series “Strong medicine“, a role he played over 108 episodes, until 2005.
Other television credits include participation in the series “Sisters“,”Chicago Hope“,”The Nanny“,”Emergencies (ER)“,”The Practice“,”Frasier“,”Without a trace“,”Crossing Jordan“or”Dollhouse“, among many others.
In his personal life, he married the actress Roxanne hart in 1984. The couple has two children, Alexander Y Macklin.
