Following his parents’ divorce in 1981, he lived with his mother in Tennessee, but later reunited with his father in Scotland. He returned for some years to the United States, and again to London, to live with his father and stepmother. I study in Mill hill, a private school in North London and completed his education in 1998.
Determined to take a year off and then continue his desires to be an actor, he began working on television commercials, from where he would make his leap to the movies.
His first job was in the Franco-British co-production “Hideous kinky“(1998), starring Kate winslet. This was followed by the independent feature film “The beach“(2000), whose cast headed Leonardo Dicaprio. That same year, he starred in the award-winning television film Golden globe, “The latest explosive blondes“, made by Judi Dench Y Ian Holm.
The following year he was selected to join the cast of the miniseries produced by Tom Hanks Y Steven Spielberg, “Band of brothers“, in the role of Sgt. Darrel ‘Shifty’ Powers.
Finished filming of “Band of brothers“, he continued working in Europe, in titles such as”AKA“(2002);”Michel Vaillant“(2003),”Submerged“(2005) or”The Marksman“(2005), starring, the latter, by Wesley snipes.
