Peter Berg – Biography of Peter Berg

Peter Winkler Berg was born in March 1964 in the city of New York, in the United States.

He grew up in Chappaqua, New York and attended a private high school in Watertown, Connecticut. Later he attended college in the Macalester College from St. Paul, Minnesota. During those years, he worked as a delivery man for Domino pizzas, and simultaneously acted in local theater productions. He also studied theater at the Guthrie Theater Drama School and, in 1985 he moved to Los Angeles.

While looking for his chance in show business, Peter he worked in the docks of San Pedro, California.

Determined to pursue a career in acting, he began working as a production assistant until in 1988 he landed a role in the comedy. “Never on tuesday“, who co-starred with Claudia christian Y Andrew Lauer. It was followed by numerous films without much success, until in 1992 he won the recognition of the public and critics, when he played a soldier of World War II in the film “On the line of attack“, who starred alongside Ethan hawke Y Gary sinise. However Berg did not leave his place behind the cameras and in 2000 created “Wonderland“, a television series that was not very successful.

Regarding his personal life, he married in 1993 with Elizabeth rogers, whom he divorced in 2002. They both had a son.
