Beachy Waves
A with Maica Andrea Freelance Stylist in Clifton Nj Stylist This look has a romantic etheric feel with a hint of bohemian elements. It looks very organic and feminine, I love this look. This look is very flattering on the densities and hair lengths of different hair textures. To women with short hair, it’s also a great option if they don’t have enough space for a typical updo. My friend has relatively fine hair in this picture, which can easily fall flat and straighten out. To stop this, before styling, hair is very simple. Prepare the hair with a spray of makeup that adds texture to help keep the hair intact. I love the sunlight styling spray from Ecru personally. It smells good and on the hair feels very light and dry. Once you are ready to style, make sure that your hair is properly trimmed. During this process, do not loosen the curls save it to the end. Relaxing a curl is easier than going home and doing the curl again (redoing the curl causes more hair damage and puts the strand at risk of uneven styling). To the end, make sure that a strong hold spray will last for curls.
Lovely Wedding Updo

This romantic and whimsical look is very textured. The motion is the best thing about the feel. It’s light, but polished, it’s not messy. Playing on her hair color enhances the action so much! For a client with at least medium hair thickness, this style is perfect. The hair volume contributes to the fullness and compensates for the lack of size. The hair of this bride was a few inches above her neck / shoulder area so I still had enough hair on my nape to curl with a small flat iron that took me to my biggest tip mini flat iron! These are such a wonderful tool to be used on very short hair to create lots of curves and waves. I used the mini flat iron from Paul Mitchell! With short hair, it’s my favorite tool.
Low Updo

A Montana Hairstylist with fashion designer.

A model Hannah Drane Salon Level 1 Stylist This is a beautiful twisted spring braid. I love this updo because it begins as easy as twisting the front sides and getting in the back independence and imagination! Plus, each person can easily customize it. This look has been made for hair above the length of the shoulder and has been designed to give the impression of loose and natural skin. All you really need to do is to finish some bobby pins and some hairspray.
Elegant Silhouette

I’d describe it as beautiful, elegant and classy whimsical. That’s exactly how every woman on her special day or on any other occasion should feel. Due to her hair length, she should not be limited in options. This style is created in a spiral shape with curled hair over the whole head. The spirals are expanded and intertwined to give this elegant and classy silhouette a more whimsical feeling. My favorite part of this look is the curls themselves being intertwined. This is what makes it versatile in this style. Such curls can be teased and extended to create a voluminous and deconstructed look for a lighter, more elegant appearance that this style can be produced with larger and looser curls, depending on the woman’s personality. For traditional and chic look, you could also keep the curls as straight as possible. My advice to anyone who thinks about this look is to understand your own type of hair first. Your type of hair will decide how well this style is perceived. The type of hair may also determine how well this hairstyle will last during the event’s night. For example, someone with thick and/or coarse hair need not curl the hair too tightly or create too much volume at the bottom of the style while someone with thin / fine hair may need to add extensions or padding to produce more volume. This lovely look is for everybody! It can be as modern or traditional as you like, as I said before. It’s all about how you make the curl! I would characterize this look as a romantic upstyle

Timeless Elegance

A with style creator Jane Robinson Hairdresser in North East Uk This look is all about volume and elegance accompanied by some timeless elegance that is perfect for a bridesmaid or a bride! I love how the blonde tones accentuate and describe the theme. It takes lots of teasing and brand to hit the height and prepare for an all-day keep along with a good hairspray!
Relaxed Romance

A very relaxed hairstyle. Obviously, the curls are rendered and very gentle. It’s very casual to wear a loose updo with a few strands falling. We suggest wearing this look with a little hair comb that does not break the illusion of being normal and comfortable.

A with fashion designer Jen Collier Freelance Hairstylist in Melbourne Vic This style has a pretty boho look with a combination of short braids and loosely tied curls in a bun. To soften the look, just a few curls are left out.

A Jennifer Hunter Stylist with fashion maker This is an elegant half-up look with stylish information. I love its simplicity and it doesn’t take away other details like her necklace or dress from my client. The basic but complex description adds dimension and motion to the stilladd. For someone with fine to medium hair, this is a great style. My pictured client was actually dealing with hair loss postpartum and this style worked perfectly for her thinner skin. A light hold hairspray is perfect without weighing down the hair for grip and texture. I used the shaping and coloring of Sukà © sha hairspray when working and finished with their full hairspray hold once all was in place. This is a friendly spunky style that also offers something simpler but more informative to someone more reserved.

A with fashion designer Elizabeth Garcia Cosmetologist How would you characterize this look and what’s your favorite thing about it? This look I’d describe as a modernized French twist. My favorite part is the feeling it offers about this updo. It seems as if the hair is longer than it is, so the overall appearance is more complete. What tricks or items to recreate this look are you recommending? For smooth and calm flyaways when making the look, I suggest a bright spray or a light styling treatment oil before styling. I always advise to keep the final look a strong hairspray. This updo is recommended for any finer hair texture. In comparison to a classic tight French twist, it’s a looser updo and looks fuller with the subtle curls.
Unassuming Effortless

A with Ashlyn Landrum Makeup Artist / Hairstylist Style designer How would you describe this look and what is your favorite thing about it? This is an unassuming and effortless updo that stylists and non-stylists alike will quickly master. It’s a shockingly minimalist theme that’s great for nights and even prom wedding dates. It is romantic polished and flexible because, depending on the type of choice and case, it can be made clean and traditional or wispy and ethereal.

A with Jessica Blythe Student’s fashion maker How would you characterize this look and what’s your favorite? I’d characterize it as simple but elegant. Fewer say more at times! What tricks or items to recreate this look are you recommending? If the hair of the client is mostly one size, it is best to recreate this look. I’m a Paul Mitchell School student, so I’ve been using all Paul Mitchell stuff! I used the Extra Body Holding Spray Neuro Heat Protecting Mist and Shine Spray Conditioning from Awapuhi in particular. Hey and too many bobby pins! For a client who does not wear clothes (casual or formal) with a lot going on, I suggest this look. The guest will wear something very simple when an updo like this is made.
Elegant Dutch Braid

A with Tatjana Reynolds Stylist Stylist This styling is one of my favorite short hair styles. This holds the hair off the face without being twisted or close. Keeping the hair looser means a motion look that always requires help from short hair. To recreate this look, what tips or items do you recommend? The motion is produced with one side of the head braided by the Dutch. Her hair is shaved on the other side in this particular instance, so the concept of a deep side part was a given, but it is not necessary to achieve the look. If your customer has fine hair, I definitely recommend using Davines to give him a lot of shine. This is a Sea Salt Spray and this is a Dry Texturizer. I put my hair on a 3/4-inch Marcel iron and combed it with my fingertips. Many bits had to be put carefully so they didn’t move in funny directions and the outline could stay consistent. Decide where you want the component braid to just past the ear and secure under the longer layers of the ear with a transparent elastic and bobby pins. This form of style is so open to any hair or face shape. We can accommodate any face by adjusting where the part lies for the braids. The type of product that you use depends on the hair’s texture. That particular hair head needed a little more oomph so I used items for volume creating. These can easily be replaced by something for thicker-haired customers like a Brazilian Blowout Dry Wax. Unless we decide to keep the braids tighter then this style can be used to run around town for your workouts. Just fluff your braids to the transition to the night out for girls at the end of the day.
Messy of the Present DayI always say that the best result for the perfect updo (or any style) comes from the foundation with which you start. Once I had a foundation I just fell in love with the rest and I could exploit the parts I needed to go where. I recommend using a dry shampoo (whether on freshly washed hair or unwashed hair for two days) because it gives you the right texture and shape for this look. I also used a boost to amplify it a little bit more. Make sure to use a strong hold hairspray to prevent thinking about any bits that fall throughout the night. I think it’s one of those updos that anyone on their wedding day could wear. It’s so classic and timeless. It looked stunning, this client had a natural middle part. I also rendered this design with a side part and no part and it looked amazing every way! Flower Crown
