The Japanese Novelist Shuji Tsushima, better known in the world of letters by his pseudonym “Osamu Dazai“was born on June 19, 1909, in Kanagi, Aomori Prefecture.
Dazai He was the sixth son of a landowner and member of the Upper House of the National Congress for the Tsugaru Peninsula, Aomori Prefecture, north of Japan’s largest island, Honshu.
