He is the younger of two brothers the latter is an indie rock singer-songwriter, Peter Myers and Paul Myers. He had been born a Lutheran. Mike Myers started his career as a child actor appearing in an advertisement series. He co-starred the Saturday Night Live alum Gilda Radner in one of those advertisements. As an adult, Myers spent time with the Toronto and Chicago Second City comedy troupe. He performed on the Citytv City Limits show and became a founding member of the Comedy Store Players improv comedy troupe based in London. Myers joined the NBC’s Saturday Night Live cast in 1989. Legendary characters like Linda Richman Dieter Wayne Campbell appeared at SNL Mike, and many more. Myers and former SNL cast member Dana Carvey landed their own film adaptation titled Wayne’s World.
