Family:
Father: Eric Myers, former Army cook and encyclopedia salesman.
Mother: Alice “Bunny” Myers, former actress and data processor.
His parents, of English origin, emigrated to Canada from the city of Liverpool. As a child Mike began to appear in commercials.

In the ’80s joined the comedy group “Second city comedy” from Toronto, to later form a humorous duo with Neil mullarkey, and together go England taking his show to every corner.

There he acted and wrote scripts from 1988 until nineteen ninety five. On 1989 would receive an award Emmy for his scripts on the show.
That same year would come his debut in the cinema, in the film “Elvis stories“, A short shot by Ben stiller which dealt from an ironic-humorous point of view about the disappearance of “The king”.
Myers’ first feature film would be “Wayne’s world”(1991), written by him and co-starring Dana Carvey. Wayne would become an endearing character, more than anything for the rock audience of the ’90s.
On 1993, next to Nancy travis, was involved in the romantic comedy “An Unmatched Bride” from Thomas Schallammand. Also that year, the sequel to his previous hit, “Wayne’s world 2”, This time directed by Stephen Surjik.
After four years away from the cinema, he returns to the ring with “Austin powers” on 1997. A parodic comedy from the movies of James bond, co-starring Elizabeth hurley.
The overall plot revolves around a psychedelic detective from the years ’60s immersed in the current world, after being revived from the cryogenic state in which he was.
On 1999 the first sequel to the film would arrive, “Austin Powers: The Seductive Spy“And the later:”Austin powers, Goldmember” in the year 2002. All 3 hits were directed by Jay roach.
Mike owns a production company, Eric’s Boy (in honor of his father who suffered from Alzheimer’s and died of lung cancer in 1994).
Myers’ last big hit was “Sherk”(2001), where he had the honor of voicing the main character, Shrek, a character from Dreamworks.
On 2004 would arrive “Shrek 2”And a few years later, more precisely, in 2007,” Shrek the Third “was released. All of them telling the story of the ogre, his talking donkey and Princess Fiona.
He is married to the actress Rodin Ruzan, with whom would he have had a romantic relationship since 1988.
