As long as you don’t remove the Watch from your wrist and it remains within your phone’s range, it will remain unlocked — so you don’t need to relock your Pin. “Because Apple Watch needs you to enter a Pin each time you wear it, the smartwatch functions as a two-factor authentication method, as you would need to unlock the watch to access the authenticator prompts. Microsoft has announced that the new app will be available to all users in the coming weeks at some point. The iOs and Android authenticator software typically requires that you enter a Pin password or biometric authentication to approve new logins. You can handle logins straight from your wrist with the new Apple Watch app. To control your logins, you can pass the profiles to the new Apple Watch app if you already have Microsoft Authenticator setup. Users also have the ability to connect the app to multiple work and home profiles.
