According to reports, the forthcoming film starring Chris Hemsworth has just added stars like Jessica Chastain and Emily Blunt to what quickly shapes to be a stellar cast. A follow-up to 2012’s Snow White and The Huntsman has been in the works for several years now, but their path to the big screen has been a smooth one exactly. The film has undergone many drastic changes over the course of its development process. It was announced last summer that original star Kristen Stewart would not reprise her role as Snow White in the sequel, despite the fact that she was initially supposed to do so. Then, Universal agreed to reconfigure the movie as a spinoff film based on the returning roles of Ravenna’s evil queen and Hemsworth’s Huntsman and Charlize Therone. While specific plot details are still scarce The Hollywood Reporter says the new movie will serve as a prequel to the film. While the film does take place in the same setting as Snow White and the Huntsman, it will follow the lives of the Huntsman and Ravenna before they’ll ever meet Snow White. Star Wars: Force Awakens (2015), with 93 percent from critics and 86 percent from the audience, performed the best out of the three part-trilogy. Why does the editor of’ The Rise of Skywalker ‘ believe that Disney has ruined this film? Maryann Brandon spoke out about the hurried production of the film on The Rough Cut podcast. Brandon worked on the television series Alias and the movies Mission: Impossible III Star Trek and Star Wars with Director J. J. Abrams: The Force Awakens. The two know each other well so it comes as a surprise that they would receive negative reviews from another film they have worked on together. The Skywalker Rise crew had three months less to work on the new film than they did for Force Awakens, Brandon’s estimates suggest. Disney set the release date for Dec. 20, 2019 and was adamant that it couldn’t change it. Now we know they did it deliberately and what should be the more important message. Critics and fans might be in agreement about the film if only Disney could have given the director 3 more months.
